I want to focus on my favorite breed. I'm a big fan Siamese cats, and simply could not pass by the successfully designed patterns for cross stitch. Here are the ones I have...

By the way, do you know that there is a myth that Siamese cats are very angry and aggressive? I would like to refute it! My first pet was a Siamese cat. Kindest soul, if you can say that about a cat. No matter what my nephews did to her, she never scratched or bit anyone. Although at first, to be honest, I was even afraid to sleep with her... And there was an ordinary Siamese cat. My Siamese cat behaved the same way - also the most ordinary one. But when I bought a cat of Siamese color, but with long hair, this is where we found ourselves... This breed was called Balinese (at least when we bought it, that’s how it was announced to us), but it looked like the Neva Masquerade. In general, not only a masquerade, but also a real hunt for all family members passing by - this was his very first pastime. It was impossible to pet him - he immediately bit into your hand, constantly biting and scratching, especially when he was a small playful kitten. But at the same time, the Thais (and the breed of Siamese cats originates from there, it’s not for nothing that they are also called Thai), are a little afraid of them... Perhaps real Thai cats are just like that, but our Siamese turned out to be very harmless animals.

Teresa Wentzler

This is certainly a beauty from the designer Teresa Wentzler Tapestry Cat. It just looks like the real thing! And the floral design only adds to its charm:

RTO

Cat Marquis company RTO He’s also very eye-catching, but... for some reason his eyes are green... It’s a flaw! Siamese cats only have Blue eyes. So I would redo the diagram cross stitch cats, where I would choose a blue range of colors for the eyes.

I really like the design of an unknown manufacturer. I call him Siamese cat on a pillow:

And this handsome guy in flowers (also unidentified yet):

Heritage

And the company Heritage turned out to be a Siamese cat too! Although not as fluffy, he is a real Siamese!

A comment:

Cross-stitched is just the name of the painting, where next to a luxurious, half-naked girl lies a graceful cat with the same piercing blue eyes as the lady’s.

Regarding the techniques used in the work, we note that only the full cross is used. But in some areas you have to master the technique of mixing threads. This is when two threads are taken for work different shades. All this is outlined in the key to the diagram.

The only trouble will be the selection of threads. Opposite each legend icon, the threads of the manufacturer DMC are manually marked. You can easily replace them with your favorite threads using the floss conversion chart or DMC color card. However, please note that your threads should not stain the fabric or shrink after contact with water. Otherwise, when you wash your work, it will be completely ruined.

The fabric for your work will be Aida canvas. Even if you like a fabric with an even weave, such as Evenweave or linen, you will find it easier to complete this project by working with canvas. Just remember to prevent its edges from fraying. To do this you will need to sweep them.

The Siamese cat embroidery pattern consists of four parts. In order not to constantly look for the place on the pattern where you interrupted work, we recommend that you mark the embroidered places on the pattern with a marker.

Try to leave the wrong side without flaws: do not allow knots and long hanging threads or loops of them on it. All this will definitely “come out” after you iron the embroidery.

At the same time, to keep the “face” of the plot neat, tilt the top cross stitch in only one direction.

When the embroidery is completed, wash it in lukewarm water. But under no circumstances rub or wring out the fabric. The work should be dried by laying it on a flat horizontal surface, preferably on top of a clean towel. You need to iron the picture from the inside out.

Now all you have to do is design your embroidery.
