A beautiful scrunchie is an object of material love for a little girl. A handmade hair band will be doubly loved. Almost any child wants to create something on their own. It is clear that it is difficult to cope with such a task as chamomile from foamiran, but with my mother's help and our master class, everything will definitely work out. How to make chamomile from foamiran
We make markings (not with a pencil, but with a toothpick) on white foamiran: 2 squares measuring 6 by 6 cm, 2 squares measuring 6.5 by 6.5 cm. Cut out two strips measuring 1 by 13 cm from yellow foamiran.
Before us are 4 squares of two sizes. From them we will form a circle of petals.
Cut out the circles. Mark the center of each circle with a toothpick.
We fold the circle in half and make an incision with scissors towards the center, but not reaching it about half a centimeter. We make cuts on the other side. The resulting sector is folded in half and cut again.
We fold each sector again and cut it, we get what we see in the photo. We divide all 4 circles equally.
With nail scissors, cut off the edges of the petals, first on one side, then on the other.
We make cloves at the tips of the petals.
For the yellow fluffy middle, we cut the strips of foamiran with a fringe, not reaching the edge of 3-4 mm.
If you look closely at a live chamomile, you will notice that it is not completely white - yellow-green rays emanate from the center. To create them, you need a pastel of bright yellow and green colors.
First, draw arbitrary rays in yellow. Then shade green. We paint the center on both sides (about 2.5 cm in diameter).
We cut out from green foamiran 6 leaves measuring 5 by 3 cm and 2 sepals 3.5 cm in diameter. We make the leaves pointed, the sepals - with arbitrary teeth.
We heat the iron, lean against it for 2-3 seconds a circle of petals. Under the influence of temperature, the foamiran begins to shrink in the direction where the heat comes from. As soon as the petals arch a little, draw veins on them with a toothpick.
We also apply the leaves to a heated iron, draw streaks. While the material has not cooled down, we twist the tips of the leaves and thin the material with our fingers.
We apply a sepal to the iron - it has taken a concave shape, slightly decreased in size, the teeth have become thinner.
We twist the yellow strip and glue it along the base with a small amount of glue using a glue gun.
We apply the middle to the iron, then shape it, shade it with green.
Glue the middle to the small circle of petals. We put a drop of glue on the petal, fix it in the middle, but try not to go to the fluffy part.
Glue the petals in a circle through one. Then we do the same with the remaining petals.
We take a circle with a large diameter, stick a camomile on it.
We form the petals in the same way as the previous circle - through one. Glue the leaves.
We glue the sepals on top of the leaves, put an elastic band on the glue to it. Cut out a thin strip to secure the elastic.
Small teeth can be made on the fixing strip.
If the yellow middle of the chamomile covered the yellow-green parts of the petals, you can tint again, but carefully.

- Cut out 5 foamiran flowers and one sepal for one rose. Paint the edges of each flower in a darker shade, for example, if you took yellow foamiran for a rose, then the edges need to be treated with a dry bed of ocher shade.
- Cut the recesses of the petals to the middle so that a center with a diameter of 0.5 cm remains between the cuts. Treat all 5 flowers in this way.
- Take one of the blank flowers and fold it in such a way that you get one petal. Holding the petal with tweezers, bring it to the iron for a few seconds and twist it tightly in a spiral. Straighten the workpiece and use a lighter to twist the edge of each petal. Give shape to each blank.
- Take a piece of foil and roll a voluminous drop out of it. Lubricate it with glue and glue it to the center of the first workpiece. Carefully cover the droplet with flower petals, laying them on top of each other. In this case, the first petal should envelop the foil base and have a triangular top, and the remaining petals should overlap each other. Their upper edges must be bent.
- In the second row, we glue the petals of the workpiece as tightly as possible to the petals of the previous row. Don't forget to overlap and bend the edges.
- In the third row, the petals are also glued, but the glue is applied only to the lower part of the rose and to its middle. Thus, the flower turns out to be more fluffy and open.
- In the fourth row, the petals must be attached to the bottom and to the lower third of the craft.
- In the last row, only the lower part is smeared with glue.
- Place a sepal on the sole of the iron for a few seconds and twist it well.
- Glue the unfolded sepal to the bottom of the rose.
- Take a simple elastic band that matches the color of the flower and glue a rose to it. To make the design more reliable, glue a rectangle of foamiran at the junction of the flower and the elastic band.

Do-it-yourself bell bands from foamiran: we make flowers
Fans of non-standard solutions will like rubber bands with foamiran bells. They are more difficult to make than rubber bands with roses, but they look more unusual. - Cut out 12 blanks according to the template. Paint the upper inner edge of each workpiece with a dry bed, which should be a tone darker than the foamiran used.
- Take one petal and warm it in your palms. Fold the petal with an accordion and twist it into a tourniquet in a spiral. Process all the blanks in this way.
- Hold the edges of each of the twelve petals with a lighter so that they spin. Also, heat the middle of the petals with fire and, pressing it down with your thumb, make a depression.
- Glue the left and right edges of the workpiece together to make a bell. Make 12 of these flowers.
- Cut the yellow foamiran into thin sticks, 2 cm long and 0.2 cm wide, and into 0.4x0.4 squares. In total, you should get 36 of these elements.
- Glue the stick to the square. Make 35 more of these stamens and sprinkle them with gold glitter.
- Glue three of these stamens to the center of each bell. They need to be attached with a glue gun.

We circle the patterns on foamiran. For large petals, we take a bright pink foamiran, circle the smaller ones on a light foamiran. We use yellow color for the middle of the flower: cut off a strip of 12 × 1.5 cm. Cut out a square with a side of 3.5 cm from light green foamiran.
Cut out the petals, making the edges slightly wavy. Cut out the sepals from the green. We cut the yellow strip into small stamens across, not reaching the end of about 3 mm.
We straighten the petals and sepals. We heat each petal along the edge (on the wide side) with a lighter and stretch it a little. We do not touch the narrow part - it will stick to the middle.
We tint the yellow strip with a brownish colored pen on both sides.
We glue the braid (about 14 cm long) to our future center.
We begin to twist the middle, slightly pulling the foamiran at the base. Cut the stamens in half and glue to the middle at the base.
Thus, we glue all 10 stamens. The middle, winding each circle, lower a little lower. Inside the middle is higher than on the edge.
As a result, we got:
And now we are carefully watching how to make flowers from foamiran. We glue the first row of petals from light pink foamiran, turning one after the other. Glue is needed quite a bit, so as not to spoil the naturalness and airiness of the flower.
We decorate the second row of petals using a more saturated color.

We cut off from the braid 3 times 14 cm each. We string a bead and a petal on each braid.
We tie a knot from the braid (tightly near the bead).
We collect a light nylon tape (37 cm long) with a needle, having previously melted the edges of the tape.
We tighten it into a ring, fasten with a couple of stitches and a knot.
We take the second tape, the color is brighter (width 2 - 2.5 cm). And with it we repeat the same as with the first tape. We fasten two circles of ribbons together.
We trim the edges of the braid (a margin of about 1 cm is given), melt it with a lighter and pin it to the base of the ribbons (you can first just outline their position with one stitch. If you sew it right away, you won’t be able to fix the flower in the center).
We take an elastic band for hair and fix it with a braid. We bring the rest of the tape back. Fix the elastic band with hot glue.
Foamiran (foam, fom, revelure) is a thin sheet of foamed rubber. It has a delicate, silky structure, thanks to which it is called artificial or plastic suede.
Those who have already worked with foamiran will return to it again. Fom is a very soft and plastic material. Applications, dolls, flower arrangements are made from it. In our country, foamiran appeared not very long ago, but rather quickly became a popular material for creating fakes and hair accessories.
- You can buy fom at any needlework store. Sheet foamiran is presented in a wide range, has many colors. Manufacturers are constantly releasing new shades, even a brilliant fom. Despite all the variety, light-colored material is more popular.
- The homeland of the material is Iran, but now it is also produced in other countries. China is a major supplier of the material. Good quality fom is produced here at an affordable price.
- Those who often work with foamiran have learned to determine the country of origin by the shade of the material and the thickness of the sheet. The thickness of good quality material should not exceed 2 mm.
- The material is very soft to the touch, a bit like suede.
Foamiran is an absolutely non-toxic material due to its composition. Do not worry if, upon opening the package, a specific smell is felt. Usually it disappears within a couple of hours and in no way affects the health and well-being of a person. Without fear for the consequences, you can safely involve children in working with the material.
The positive properties of foamiran include:
- The ability to keep well the shape that he was given in the course of work. But so that this quality of the material is not lost, it is better not to stretch it much and not to heat it much.
- The material does not absorb moisture. It can be wiped with a damp cloth and even washed, while the finished product is not deformed.
- Sheets are easily cut, punched through with a hole punch. On them you can do various embossing and patterns.
- The ability to independently color the material if the desired color is not available. To do this, use pastel or acrylic paints. Finished products can be shaded with watercolors, gouache or colored crayons, decorated with sparkles, rhinestones, beads.
- Strongly and quickly glued with hot glue.

Making flowers for hairpins is not difficult. For this you need:
- 1. Prepare templates for cutting out the sepals and petals.
- 2. Circle and cut out 15 petals from peach or pink material and 3 sepals from green (for three flowers). You can circle the templates with any sharp object, cut with scissors.
- 3. Give relief and shape to the petals. Each workpiece for 3 sec. Apply to a hot iron. Then fold with an accordion, twist, open and stretch the middle.
- 4. The edges of each sepal along the entire perimeter must be cut with scissors. Then for a few seconds, attach the blanks to a hot iron. This will fluff up the cuts and add volume to the leaves.
- 5. Prepare a bunch of white stamens. Attach it to the first petal. It should curl around the stamens.
- 6. The remaining four petals are evenly distributed and attached. So that they fall apart a little.
- 7. The sepals are attached to the flowers with the twisted side down.
- 8. Three finished flowers are attached to each other in a bundle.
- 9. You can supplement the composition with large leaves twisted with an iron.
- 10. The finished composition is attached to the hairpin using hot glue.

With the help of foma jasmine, you can transform an ordinary hair tie.
To do this, you will need: a thin white and green foamiran, a mold to give texture to the leaves, an elastic band for hair.
Making an accessory consists of several stages:
- 1. Template preparation. You can print it ready-made from the Internet or draw it yourself.
- 2. Transferring the template to the material. Cutting blanks. In total, for one flower you need: 2 flower blanks (each with four petals), 1 sepal, 1 rectangle (stamen blank), 3 leaves (made of green material). In total, you need to make blanks for three flowers.
- 3. Processing blanks with an iron. While the material is warm, all the details need to be wrapped inside, form a recess at the flower blank, give it the shape of a box.
- 4. Giving texture to the leaves. To do this, the cut leaves are heated, and while warm are applied to the universal mold. Press firmly against it for a few seconds.
- 5. Finely cut the stamen blank (rectangle) with scissors, not reaching 0.5 cm to the edge.
- 6. Staining of stamens. Color the edges of the cut fringe yellow with a pencil, felt-tip pen or pastel.
- 7. From a wire 6-7 cm long, make blanks of stems and leaves.
- 8. Fasten the chopped fringe to the wire with hot glue, wrap it so that the stem is inside. Fluff ready stamens.
- 9. Assembling a flower. From below, plant one row of petals on the stamens, then in a checkerboard pattern - the second row. Each element is fixed with glue. The sepal is put on last, its leaves should be in the center of the petals of the second row.
- 10. The stem is decorated with floral tape.
- 11. Leaves are glued to a separate wire (decorated in advance).
- 12. Collection of composition. In the center of the composition are flowers, along the edges of the leaves. All elements are fixed with tape.
- 13. The finished bouquet is attached to the elastic band with hot glue.

For the manufacture of asters you will need: thin foamiran of pink, yellow and green colors.
Manufacturing instructions:
- 1. Cut out a rectangle from yellow foma with sides 1.5 cm and 8 cm.
- 2. Cut it into a thin fringe, not reaching the edge of 0.5 cm.
- 3. The inner petals are made from pink material. It is a rectangle 13 cm long, 2 cm high. Cut a fringe from the resulting strip.
- 4. To prepare the petals of the outer circle, a strip 2.5 x 28 cm in size is cut out, a fringe is cut. The longer the blank, the more voluminous the flower will be.
- 5. According to a pre-made template, sepals and leaves are cut out of green material.
- 6. With the help of an iron, the fringe of the centerpiece and petals is heated and folded, then the sepals are deepened.
- 7. With the help of a universal mold, texture is attached to the leaves. The cut blanks are heated and pressed against it for a few seconds.
- 8. A flower is assembled, starting from the center. First, the yellow center is folded so that the fringe looks outward. Selectively, the turns are fixed with glue.
- 9. The inner layer of the petals is attached in the place where the middle was finished. It is laid with petals inside. And the outer layer, on the contrary, with the petals outward.
- 10. When all the fringe is twisted, the sepal and one leaf are attached.
- 11. A small amount of glue is applied to the hairpin in several places and a leaf with an aster is attached.
Making one hairpin takes no more than an hour.
Rose from foamiran on a hairpin
To make a rose you will need: peach and green fom, dry pink pastel, large beads, wire, hairpin.
To make a rose you need:
- 1. Prepare a petal template.
- 2. Trace and cut out sepals and leaves from foma green, a large number of petals from peach material. The more petals, the larger the flower will be.
- 3. Generously paint the sharp end of each petal with pastel, shading it towards the middle.
- 4. For the bud, separately prepare three petals, in which the rounded edge is painted.
- 5. Using an iron, heat the leaves, then fold them like an accordion, twist them, pull out the middle to add volume.
- 6. From the foil, form a drop corresponding to the size of the bud.
- 7. String the bead on a piece of wire, 15 cm long.
- 8. Make a hole in the center of the bud, insert a wire with a bead into it. Secure on both sides with glue.
- 9. Form a bud from three pre-prepared petals. They should completely cover the foil.
- 10. Attach the second row of petals. They are fixed with glue a little below the middle. When fixing the next layer, glue is applied only to the edge of the petal.
- 11. Make cuts along the perimeter of the sepal.
- 12. Iron the sepals and leaves in the same way as the petals.
- 13. Using the left wire, attach the flower to the hairpin, fix with glue.
- 14. Glue small leaves from below, grabbing a hairpin.
Very often, foamiran is used to create jewelry, including hairpins. After all, hairstyles decorated with flowers look much more spectacular and interesting.

We will tint the petals with pink and yellow oil pastels, directly with a pencil. We tint on both sides. One petal circle is completely pink. The second - we tint only the tips of the petals. The third is only the middle. For one flower, cut out three petal circles in total. I will be making two hairpins, so I will need three pink flowers and three yellow ones.
