Always pads for women stand out for their size even in the night hygiene category. They're really big - almost like. True, the manufacturer indicated an overstated size of the pad in the name - 36 cm. In fact, the length is 35 cm. The width of the rear part is 17 cm, which is very prudent for sleeping on critical days, the probability of leakage is much lower. It is convenient that the pad has two pairs of side velcro: the first two, as usual, wrap around the linen, the second - attach the wide back to the inner surface. Combined with a total adhesive layer of 39% of the width, they hold the gasket securely. However, the women did not appreciate the additional Velcro. Judging by the reviews for Always "Night 36 cm", not everyone understands why the rear "wings" are needed. But the gasket has a drawback that can really cause discomfort - it's thickness. Always "Night 36 cm" is packed with fiber absorbent - no compact granules. Such a "fat woman" is much more noticeable in underwear and can be seen under clothes, which is clearly not suitable for daytime wear.
We examined the gaskets for stains, wrinkles and damage, but did not find any abnormalities. The pads are without fragrances, therefore, they are also suitable for owners of sensitive skin, if only the upper polymer mesh is not embarrassing. It has a mesh that is large enough to absorb quickly, but it makes the surface appear rough. If you prefer more delicate pads, it is better to take a closer look at options with a soft outer layer, for example, Libresse Maxi "Night soft surface".
Moisture absorption - 4.6
Sanitary pads Always "Night 36 cm" absorb a lot - 109.7 ml, almost half a glass of liquid! This is not due to the supereffective absorbent, but rather to its large thickness and surface area. However, there are few competitors in terms of absorption at night Always. The most important one is "Secrets of Lan" Anion + Active Oxygen Night "with a capacity of 137 ml, but to buy them you will have to try - this brand is distributed mainly through online stores.

Top layer absorbency - 3.5
As it turned out, the top surface of Always "Night 36 cm" cannot absorb small volumes of liquid. And this despite the huge pores, which were just supposed to facilitate absorption! In the top layer blotting test, the pad only began to absorb liquid from the seventh drop. It turns out that with an unsuccessful pose, small secretions will simply roll sideways. In comparison, most of the pads we tested started to absorb from the first to second drop.
Moisture return - 4.6
We tested how well Always Night 36 cm retains moisture by pouring 30 ml of test solution and placing a weight on top. These conditions mimic the effectiveness of the pad while the woman is seated. As a result, only 2 ml of liquid was released - in comparison with other pads, a very good result. Few could surpass it, for example, Ola Ultra Night "Velvety mesh", which released only 0.3 ml of liquid.
Liquid distribution - 4.3
During tests, we found that pads without superabsorbent were the best at distributing moisture. So the liquid does not accumulate in the center and local leaks do not occur. Always "Night 36 cm" belongs to such pads. The liquid in it was easily distributed not only due to the fibrous filler, but also due to the deep grooves.
