Alignment marks and middle lines of the workpieces should be transferred using small serifs on the seam allowance from the pattern to the fabric.
Sewing
Stage one: bottom
First, we need to cut the bottom cut on the sidewalls by one centimeter. Next, you need to sweep the bottom of the front and back parts clearly between the cuts.
Having wrapped the hem allowance on the seamy side, iron it well. On the rounded sections of the cuts, we perform a fit - we press the fabric here.
Then the hem should be sewn on the right side, performing bartacks on both sides of the stitching. It remains only to iron the bottom well and move on to the next stage.
Stage two: darts
First you need to mark out the darts on the fabric by the pattern (use a remnant or crayon).
Then we split the dart with pins along the marking line, aligning its sides. We stick the pins across the markup line, removing the previous ones that went along.
Next, sew the dart up from the side seam (the pins that were inserted almost perpendicular to the line will not interfere with the process). At the beginning of the seam, we perform a bartack, at the end of the seam, cut off the threads, thread their ends into a needle and hide the tails in a dart. Now you need to iron the dart down, press the top. At this stage, everything, move on to the next.
Stage three: pockets
We lay out the pockets clearly between the marks. We split the pockets and side seams with pins, placing the blanks face to face. Next, you need to sew the pockets to the side cuts of the shelf and back from one mark to the other, performing bartacks on both ends of the line. Then, after removing all the pins, you should sweep the allowance and iron it onto the pocket.
Stage four: side seams
Here we need to do the following:
- chop off the side seams and pockets with the front sides inward;
- sew side and pocket with a continuous stitch;
- overcast allowances;
- iron the pocket and the side allowance on the shelf;
- put bartacks along the edges of the entrances to the pocket from the side of the shelf;
- place a bartack over the cut at the bottom of the side seam.
Stage five: sleeves and cuffs
At this stage of work we have to:
- iron the cuffs in half lengthwise, with the right side of the fabric up;
- iron one allowance of a long cut seven millimeters inside out;
- stitch the cuffs to the sleeve along the non-ironed cut (we chop off the details with the front sides);
- iron the cuff allowance;
- sew a sleeve seam together with a cuff;
- overcast and iron the allowance for the back of the sleeve;
- bend the cuffs along the ironed fold and sweep its bent edge to the seam of the cuff stitch;
- sew on the second side of the cuff on the front side exactly along the stitching seam;
- iron the cuffs.
Chipped with pins, sew the sleeve to the dress along the armhole. Wrap and iron on top of the sleeve, only iron on the bottom of the armhole.
Stage six: turning the top cut
At this stage, you will need to chop the hem in half lengthways and press the fold with the right side of the fabric on top. Next, you need to close the edging into a ring, sewing short cuts, iron the seam allowances.

To grind the shuttlecock along the entire length, you will need at least 3 meters of lace.
8. After the shuttlecock is ready, we return to the main part (the same rectangle of fabric that was put aside).
9. Straps are sewn to the top of the base. They can be made from the same fabric as the dress itself, or you can use a wide elastic band for this purpose (2-3 centimeters wide and 12-15 centimeters long).
10. The elastic is sewn to the top of the warp with ordinary threads, resulting in a sundress.
