The dress

The dress is knitted according to the following pattern:
- the first row - 50 air loops (this figure includes two lifting loops);

Costume
The costume is a rather complicated doll attire, since it is rather difficult to sew on a small doll, let alone knit a costume. The upper part of the suit can be knitted according to the sweater knitting technology described above, trousers can be crocheted or knitted. Such clothes for crochet dolls will be less effective, since the jacket is made with knitting needles. How to knit pants:
- use needles number 2.5. Cast on 64 stitches and knit with five needles. Make a circle with a height of 6 cm, use knitting elastic band 2 * 2. Then start adding 4 loops in all rows until the knitting height is 10 cm. By these actions, a gusset is formed;
- then the loops must be divided into 2 parts. They should be tied separately. The knitting height of each leg is about 14 cm, can be made longer or shorter;

So let's get started.
In order to crochet a blouse for your doll, we need:
- buckle for hand knittingbuckles consisting of 50% or more merino are well suited;
- hook 1.5 mm. The thickness of this crochet hook is good for this kind of knitting. You can use metal, wooden or plastic hooks, it is recommended to crochet small blouses with a metal crochet, since the head will hook the jacket buckle well;
- ordinary scissors.
Description
Before starting knitting of a sweater, it is necessary to perform exactly all measurements from the doll, namely the length of the sleeve, back and front, as well as the width of the armpits of the sweater.
For the convenience of knitting, you need to start from the bottom of the jacket. We collect a chain of loops. Having made measurements of the chrysalis belts, with a small margin for cutting, you can calculate the required chain length. In order to clearly follow the dimensions, it is recommended to apply the work at different stages to the doll itself, and if it is necessary to re-tie the failed element.
We tie the blouses for the doll to the line of the armpits. We divide the knitting process into three main parts - the back and 2 shelves. Next, you need to knit all the parts to the base of the neck line and proceed to knitting the neckline. The neckline is made using half-crochets, single crochets and half-crochets.
After you have tied the neckline, perform shoulder seams and check the work done to match the size with the doll. If all is well, then start moving on to the sleeves. Gently tie the armholes with double crochets, and from the middle, begin to reduce the perimeter in the first loop of the row. At the very end, do not forget about the cuffs, they are made according to the same pattern as the sleeves, just start reducing the perimeter, starting from the first circle. The approximate cuff width should be about 4-9 mm.
If you want to decorate the blouse with an elegant collar, then it is enough to knit it from three double crochets. It is also recommended to tie a hood for a blouse for greater beauty. If you want to knit blouses for your child in the future, then the practice of knitting a hood is extremely necessary. For him, you will need to measure in the first row of the collar and dial a chain equal to the base of the hood.
Knitting a hood
Knitting a hood for a sweater can be divided into two stages:
1) Divide the base chain into two equal parts and begin to knit, separately each of them, with a double crochet to the middle, then continue to knit and subtract at the beginning of each row and tie with an addition at the end. This creates the correct semicircular shape of the hood.
2) After you have crocheted the two parts, we connect them together with double crochets and sew the hood to the blouse.

Make 40 stitches by dividing them into four knitting needles. You need to knit five rows of "elastic" 1 by 1.
Then knit a pattern on some twenty loops, purl on others.
Having knitted the pattern once to the end (up to the 22nd row), then knit only the first 20 stitches - back and forth.
Tie ten rows (3 to 12 rows, see the picture), now in the eleventh row close the first four loops, tie 12 loops with a 1 by 1 elastic band and close the last four loops.
