Origami rocket - craft or bookmark for children and beginners with a diagram. How to make a paper rocket using the origami technique - master class (step-by-step (step-by-step) instructions with photos).

Origami rocket

On Cosmonautics Day, many parents, as well as teachers in kindergartens and schools, conduct various activities with their children dedicated to this holiday. Crafts help reinforce theoretical material.

In this article I will tell you how to make a simple model of a rocket using the origami technique, which preschoolers can handle making. senior group kindergarten and younger schoolchildren.

It could be ordinary craft, or maybe a useful and functional thing - a bookmark for a book, or even better - for.

How to make an origami rocket with your own hands. Master Class

In order to make a paper rocket using the origami technique, you will need the following materials and tools.

Materials and tools

  • square piece of paper (this could be special paper for origami or regular office paper, preferably colored. Colored office paper is also good because it is double-sided)
  • scissors
  • for the first design option: felt-tip pens or colored pencils and a small piece of white paper
  • for the second design option: colored paper

Stages of work

If you cut out a square of maximum size from a sheet of A4 office paper possible size, it will work out great craft- rocket. If you divide the sheet in half and cut two squares out of it, you will get two rockets about 15 cm long, as in my master class. They are convenient to use as bookmarks.

The basis of the craft is a rocket
  1. Make marks on a square piece of paper - folds. To do this, bend the sheet in half vertically and straighten it, and then bend the sides towards the middle and straighten it.
  2. Bend the top corners towards the middle.
  3. Bend the resulting shape so that the side coincides with the fold on the other side.
  4. Bend the fold in the other direction.
  5. Bend the figure on the other side in the same way.
  6. Cut a triangle from the bottom on each side as in the photo.
  7. Turn over to the other side. The base of the craft is ready.

The origami rocket will appeal to children who dream of space. It is associated with speed and freedom. Therefore, a paper rocket is suitable as a birthday gift, or with a wish of good luck.
The master class offers options for an origami-style rocket.

Work with your children to make simple model rockets from a square or rectangular piece of paper. Decorate a postcard, panel or painting with them.

The simplest rocket is made from a sheet square shape. The instructions include 8 steps:
Another one simple model also made from paper:

To work, cut a paper square in the middle to make two identical rectangles. Then you need to do the following:

  1. Bend and unfold one rectangle lengthwise, marking the central fold.
  2. Fold the left corner and straighten it, aligning the top edge with the side cut.
  3. Repeat step 2 for the right corner.
  4. Bend and unbend the top cut at the intersection of the two diagonal folds.
  5. Fold the side edges inward along the marked lines (you will get a triangle).
  6. Fold the sides to the middle along with the bottom layer of the triangle.
  7. On the second rectangle, mark a central fold and fold the side edges towards it.
  8. Turn the bottom inner corners to the sides.
  9. Insert one part into another.

Blow into the triangular pocket and the rocket will fly.

Using flat origami, compositions on the theme of space are made. The result will be a nice picture for Cosmonautics Day.

Original rocket models

Assembling a simple rocket model on “legs” begins with basic form"double triangle":

Then you need to:

  1. Fold the edges to the central axis, turn the workpiece over and repeat the action.
  2. Fold the side edges again towards the middle on one side and the other.
  3. Turn outward diagonally from about the middle of the “rays” on four sides.
  4. Trim the origami by bending the folds so that the model can stand.

To make a model that resembles a real rocket, prepare a basic frog shape:
Now all that remains is to bend the sides and corners of the basic shape. The assembly diagram includes the following steps:

Assembly requires triangular elements folded using origami (from 100 pieces), so the work is well suited for a team. Module assembly diagram:

Connect the modules into in the right order. The rocket gathers in a circle and tapers towards the top.

There are many ideas for assembling a modular rocket. The rocket is complemented with figures of astronauts, inscriptions and stars laid out on board.

Video master classes

Anyone who didn’t dream of becoming an astronaut as a child doesn’t know how to do it. It's time to learn it yourself, show it to your child, or remember long-forgotten techniques.

In fact, there are a lot of models, we will focus on two volumetric options that will help you go into space as soon as the craft is finished. You just need to turn on your imagination.

To work you will need:

  • a little patience and perseverance;
  • 10-15 minutes of free time;
  • square paper of any color;
  • hard surface.

Origami rocket for children 5-6 years old

Let's consider a simple version of the rocket, suitable for children 5-6 years old. Despite the accessibility and high speed of assembly, the result will exceed even your wildest expectations.

Bring the sides of the triangle together to the center line. Turn the figure over. She repeated the same thing.

Fold the side pieces toward the center again on both sides.

It turned out to be four tips. Bend the top two to the side and turn the figure over. Do the same. Straighten the supports of the rocket and place it on the table. She is ready to fly to the stars.

Paper rocket - a complicated model

From a square of the chosen color, make a “Double Triangle”. Let's see how to do it.

Fold the bottom ends up, connecting them at the center, as in the photo.

Form them into two identical squares.

Hide the halves of the squares inside.

Straighten the upper triangles and form the central one, pointing the corner up.

Repeat all steps on the opposite side. Place the rocket on a flat surface so that it can be used as an object for children to play with.

Don't stop there! Continue your journey into the world paper crafts on the pages of the site!

Before Cosmonautics Day, you can please yourself and your children by creating interesting crafts made of paper, namely rockets. This task will not take as much time as it seems, and the wonderful origami rocket, and the master class itself, will be remembered for a long time by both children and adults. Interestingly, the resulting beauty can be placed on a table or stand.

What you need for work

Before you sit down to work, you need to acquire the necessary materials, without which it will not be possible to construct a spacecraft. So, you should have at hand:

  • a sheet of paper in A5 or A4 format;
  • scissors;
  • simple pencil;
  • ruler.

A few words about the preparatory work.

To create a paper rocket, you will have to do the necessary preparation of materials. You need to take a sheet of white paper or another selected color with A4 format. Divide it into two halves, which will be needed in the process. The cut can be made along the fold line to end up with an A5 sheet.

Step-by-step instruction

How to make an origami rocket for kids:

  1. You need to bend the left corner of the paper, located at the bottom of the sheet, upward, so that you get a triangle.
  2. Using scissors, cut off the part of the sheet that is not included in the figure; you will end up with a corner that needs to be folded in half and opened. Now the same piece of paper is folded in half so that the bend passes through the central part, and at the end, open the craft again.
  3. The same operation must be done on the opposite side. Now the workpiece needs to be opened and folded in half, bending the side parts of the sheet inward along the existing folds. The result should be a double triangle shape.
  4. The right corner is bent towards the center along a line that intersects the sheet vertically, then a similar operation is performed with the left side.
  5. Now you need to turn the craft over and repeat the previous step with reverse side.
  6. At the next stage, the right side is bent towards the center of the future rocket.
  7. A step similar to the one described above, but for the sidewall on the left.
  8. Here you need to bend both sides to the left and, accordingly, to the right to get the lower rocket module.
  9. It is necessary to turn the workpiece over and finish the craft on the opposite side, following the previous point.
  10. On last stage you need to carefully straighten the origami rocket from the inside.

Another manufacturing technique

This paper craft option is a little simpler than the one described above. To work you need to prepare:

  • paper sheet;
  • scissors;
  • pencils or markers.

The step-by-step execution of the craft is as follows:

  1. You need to take a square-shaped sheet of paper and fold it in half.
  2. Each half is also folded in half.
  3. It is necessary to fold the upper left part of the paper, and then the right (corners) by about 1/3 of the entire length of the sheet.
  4. Then one half is applied at the central part and smoothed.
  5. Now you need to bend the above half from the middle.
  6. The opposite edge is folded with the first half and also folded back.
  7. At the bottom of the resulting part of the body, you need to make small cuts to bend the corners of the craft.
  8. At the last stage, you can draw origami portholes on the rocket body. This is what pencils or felt-tip pens are for.

An origami paper rocket for children is ready.

How to make a stronger rocket

The article presented the most simple options, how to make an origami rocket out of paper, but there are other designs. To make the craft more stable and durable, you can use cardboard to form the body, and then cover it with paper of the color you like.

The body is easy to make: you need to fold the cardboard into a tube and secure the parts of the element with glue. Bend a small piece into a cone, which will serve as the bow of the spacecraft, and a couple of small, thin tubes, also made of cardboard, will serve as nozzles or engines. Such a beautifully designed craft can last a long time in a child’s room, serving as a unique and original decoration.

Paper rocket

The paper rocket craft is most popular among children and their parents on the eve of Cosmonautics Day. In this article we will tell you how to fold an origami paper rocket. A very simple scheme that even a preschooler can handle. This paper rocket can be used to decorate an applique on the theme of space.

Paper rocket. Origami paper rocket

To make an origami rocket you will need a square shaped piece of paper. It is advisable that the color of the paper be different sides was different.

1. Fold a sheet of paper in half, first horizontally, then vertically in order to mark the middle lines. Unfold the paper.
2,3 and 4. Fold the top side of the square to the middle line horizontally.
You will get a figure like the one in figure No. 4.
5. We continue to make a paper rocket. Turn the workpiece over. Fold the top corners toward the center line vertically.
6. Fold the sides to the center line vertically.
7. Now bend the edges slightly to the sides to make wings for the origami rocket.

8 and 9. Turn the craft over. The paper rocket is ready!
