Home socks "Sharks. Sharks Big crochet shark toy

Socks are knitted from two parts (white and blue) and sewn.

Let's start with the white belly of our fish. As it stands, it looks like this:

Doesn't look like it, does it?
I start with four air loops, in each row adding one loop on each side. I knit a flare to the desired width of the insole.

And I'm starting to shape the heel. I decrease on each side at the beginning and at the end of the row, knitting two loops together. Until there are only two loops left (or four, whichever is more convenient for you). Then I start adding two loops in mirror image to the initial width. And knit up the height of the sock. At the end, I again make similar decreases and thus the mouth of the fish is formed.

This is the bottom folded, so that it would be clear where the heel is sewn.
These are not difficult steps.

Girls! You are so smart! Many have already knitted halves of socks
Let's move on to blue. It's even easier

Start like the white part. The same set, the same addition to the desired width. My halves are the same, that is, the width of the white is the same as the blue.

So you knit to the desired length, at the end form the head and sew the entire sock.
Head closer to better understand the proportions of the white and blue parts:

To form the head, pick up air loops and connect in a circle. I dialed 15 air loops

Then knit in a circle. Three full circles. Divide the knitting into two parts and start knitting two together at the beginning and end of each part. Remember the mitten? Here is such a relief. Until you close all loops. The head is ready.

The fins are knitted, just like our sock details. We start with four loops and add two loops in each row. I have 14 rows on the upper fin, 12 on the side fin. The part is folded in half and sewn together. The side fins are the seam inside, and the top one is outside and we tighten it a little, forming a bend.

Teeth-ordinary cloves: 3 ch, 3 columns with a crochet in one loop at the bottom.

The New Year is approaching somehow very quickly this year. Or is it that I have slowed down a lot, and time is like a locomotive rushing
I can’t write enough, so I suggest just looking at the photo! Moreover, the post will be sugary mi-mi-mi
I needed to come up with a gift for a wonderful bead. It is very difficult to come up with gifts when they tell you that everything is there and nothing is needed. And even in the presence of a miracle, in the form of an expressed wish, I could no longer stop inventing. And saved me for the umpteenth time Olga, who is "terribly contagious." She tells everything so interestingly and shows that it is almost impossible not to be tempted into another adventure (especially with my parrot-monkey nature)
And in the end I came up with the idea to connect the toy according to the wonderful MK with NM. (I’ll tell you about the very first experimental one below)
And the first in the story will be Cook's hedgehog. The description says about Travka yarn. But Tanya and I, walking around the thread shop, looked after Rabbit yarn! Its fibers are much thinner, softer and slightly longer than grass fibers. I found this yarn perfect for a hedgehog. And I didn’t even have to look for it, Olga’s electric broom delivered it to me directly to work
The newly purchased hook Clover almost knitted velor yarn himself. I just enjoyed the process until it was the turn of this Rabbit. Knitting shaped threads is generally a separate perversion, only thick knitting needles make the process not so terrifying. And the hook for them is some kind of trouble. Nothing is visible, nothing is clear, how to count the loops, where to insert the hook?

Right through I can not force myself to knit a head. I knit a row - I rest, I knit it again - I rest again. In the very first row, when switching from a non-shaggy yarn to a shaggy one, I lost 10 loops. In general, it turned out that I started from the wrong end of the thread. The villi have a clear direction, and if you knit against the wool, but the process is very difficult, i.e. much harder than the other way around. I had to dissolve, find the second end and start again. By the way, 10 loops were never found and I decided that it was fate. I had to constantly blow on these finest hairs so that they would at least slightly behave decently and not fluff upside down, but deviate from me to the side. From the blowing, it became somehow strange for me, either I went into a trance, or fell into a frenzy. But I still didn’t fully understand what would happen when my head narrowed at the top, when I needed to constantly reduce these fluffy loops! She poked somewhere with a hook, not even at random, but just in case, because she had to poke somewhere. And stuffing this furry bag with a hole was also entertaining.
Luckily for me, the hedgehog's body is not trained and small, it quickly bonded! Hands, legs, paws were not difficult at all. I had to go to Leonardo for my eyes. Terribly pompous, cool, huge and indecently expensive store! And the eyes were only two sizes - small and very small. And because of my eyes and my fear of putting everything together, the poor child was sitting on a chair in a dismembered form.

And when I imagine that I need to sew two furry parts, in which nothing can be seen, except for the furry ones, it just takes me aback. There is a date in the photo (I always forget to remove it), moreover, I don’t remember which day I took it , it may well be that I was dumbfounded for two weeks But yesterday I did sew it! If it wasn't intended as a gift, I wouldn't be able to finish it. For me, it is a little, a little overcoming, very, very sensitive in comparison with real life tests. I didn’t lie when I wrote that I constantly think about you
In MK, his name is Kuka, if Ulechka renames him, then he will have two names!

Here we lie

here for scale

They say he's cute. I can no longer understand whether it turned out or not, my eyes blurred. I only hope that he will bring to his new mistress, my distant friend, at least a little of my warmth and will remind me about us, let him remind you of anything! Even if he smiles, maybe I'll be glad!

But what an exclusive first animal I got, and pretty quickly! In MK, he was Peakley's kitten. I lost Mohair at that time, I could not find it, and to this day I have not found it. Therefore, I decided to try this hard-to-find Olya velor yarn. I knitted it almost perfectly, only the hook was from my childhood, and it was almost terrible. Because of him, the knitting process was very slow, and I wanted to give the kitten to the bead Tanya. But did not have time to finish before her departure. Okay, I decided to myself, I’ll give her another one next year, and I’ll knit this one and give Natasha another bead for the day. But in the end I decided not to give this miracle to anyone, it will live with me as a reminder of my own stupidity!
I'm a very specific person. If it says "knit as tight as possible, with a crochet much thinner than recommended on the yarn label," then I knit exactly that way so that the loops can only be found by hanging the knitting on the nose. If it is written "to fill it tightly with a padding polyester", then I will fill it that way! So I’ll fill it so that they can throw it at the wall and it would bounce off! And everything would be fine if this kitten had not changed the shape of the head from my stuffing, and if the whiskers had not doubled from the same stuffing. And the head also had to be pulled together after stuffing. And the needle, although long, is beaded, thin and flexible. Wherever it just didn’t crawl out of me. But it’s impossible to pull it together properly, there is so much padding polyester that it almost doesn’t miss. Having completed my sufferer in the morning, I took a picture and sent it to the author of the MK for "evaluate and suggest". Svetlana is a very tactful person, she did not write that a freak had degenerated, but very carefully said that she looked more like a puppy, but that means that this is his choice and let him live like that.

This miracle absolutely refused to stand, agreed only to lie down and sit, depicting a howling wolf.

Stood only with outside help

After Svetlana's prompt, I tried to turn him into a cat by attaching a mustache to him, and sewing his head further to his back, taught him to stand. Miracle didn't happen

"If the doll comes out badly, I'll call her a fool ..." (c) Nothing like that! I couldn't do this to a child. Therefore, I defined the breed as a cat (a mix of a kitten and a puppy), and called him Crybaby! And his pink is his tongue, not his mouth, as some see
Well, the company of brothers in misfortune (with such and such a mother!) Captured

I really hope that the next dolls will be better.

Well, now I will boast of gifts for New Year's Eve! And then everyone brags, but I’m like without gifts or what?
Olya gave us socks, but not simple, but almost golden! And while she gave me gifts, they also managed to take a picture of us. "Big Brother Don't Sleep"! By the way, we are examining the horse there (Olya showed him)

I knew that there would be socks for us, she had to ask for the size. I once joked that "how can I ask you for sharks!", which I saw, I don’t remember where. And when I took out the sharks from the package, I was so dumbfounded that I didn’t even show any enthusiasm, I just went numb and froze, instead of jumping and screaming. Ol, I'm ashamed, I repent! To say that I am delighted is to say nothing. I measured these sharks right at work and showed them to everyone. The deputy general director offered to take me right in them to the office of the bosses so that I would not mess them up. But in the end I took a picture to show my wife! My friend was delighted that it was connected very finely with very thin knitting needles made of fine yarn! About the evenness of the loops - this is a separate song. In my opinion, only a machine can knit so smoothly!
And Olya always wraps gifts very beautifully and sincerely, which I never succeed in

And now my sharks in every possible angle, because they are such, such, such!

The sticky fish is fastened with Velcro to any place!

Sharks have not only teeth, gills, eyes and nostrils, but also a drop of blood from my devoured legs!

And not just some kind of worm stuck, but a knitted fish, which even has eyes!

Today we have a selection of creative sharks.

Shark is not only a toy, but also a cake. Evgenia lives in Paris and has been creating cakes according to the fantasies of customers for several years. I have never seen such a hardworking cook before :) She has a huge amount of cakes.

Igor Andronov from Kyiv creates unique forged and jewelry according to the sketch of the customer.
"You can order jewelry from different metals and in a variety of techniques with any stones - here you can even set a simple lollipop in a gold frame)))
As for the form, do not be shy - ask - nothing is impossible ... everything that can prevent the production of what was planned is a lack of time and money)))
Products are made here from scratch - this is not a Chinese trinket shop - works are made from a sketch to finished product one master and it takes time."

Craftsmen from the Skazkodrom (Moscow) sewed a shark from the cartoon "Sea Brigade". If you need a toy - the hero of a cartoon, fairy tale, comic book, please contact them. They will develop a scheme, sew and hand you a pet.

Two-meter shark:

New sleeping bag from designer Kendra Phillips (Kendra Phillips). "It's a sleeping bag! It's a plush toy, IT'S A SHARK! In the process of making this shark, it became my favorite animal and I tried to make it more enjoyable. So I designed the ChumBuddy prototype. This seven foot plush monster is 100% handmade (sewing machines hate me). It is composed almost entirely of wool and a little as little as 30 lbs. polyester

Cross-stitched cute and good-natured:) Shark for use in scrapbook or as appliqué/decoration, can be arranged as an independent picture in the nursery.

Shark 6x12 cm. Fabric size 15.5 x 11.5 cm.

Irina Yer from Moscow creates bags and toys out of fabric. " I create things for those who love the romance of the city: trams, wet architecture, pigeons, newspapers, cafes, jazz festivals, squares and more..."

A couple of weeks ago, out of the blue, a stranger asked me to make a netbook case for him...

I show you the result. The set style is childish and colorful. It was obligatory to include a kind shark in the design.

And the kindest shark is the one that sleeps, of course.

In the meantime, while she sleeps, the fish can not be afraid and quickly swim about their business. See how they all swam at once?

"Seaweed" - cotton fabric on fleece.

Felt was abandoned, as the surface had to remain perfectly smooth.

Perevozchikova Natalya from Podolsk also creates textile bags and toys.
"My creative path goes under the motto From Boredom to All Trades (I do various types needlework), that's why my blog got its name. I have been doing needlework for a very long time, and I decided to open a store only recently, because. I think that professionalism has reached a level with which it is not a shame to go out in public)))."

The kids are going to a friend's birthday party. The holiday will be played in the style of " Undersea world"In this regard, I came up with such a Shark costume. Since it's hot outside, and the celebration is planned on the street, I had to move a little away from the traditional carnival costumes keeping clothing to a minimum. This minimum necessarily includes a cotton panama with applications of four sharks, sewn according to the same pattern as previous, and a dorsal fin that is worn like a backpack.

Veronika Repina from Gorny Altai works with wool. In addition to wool, silk, linen, cotton and much more are used to make things. She has a lot of felted hats, bags, toys. Among them is the felt shark. her mouth closes with a zipper :)

Cut the strip of felt in a zigzag pattern, not cutting to the bottom edge. Using white thread, sew the felt with the half-cut side to the bottom of the zipper so that the felt teeth slightly cover the zipper.
Using a gray thread to match the body, sew a zipper into the hole for the mouth. Teeth can look both up and down, it's up to personal preference.

Eyes
Using black thread, sew eyes (or buttons) onto the body, as in the photo.

Gill slits (dark gray, 6 pcs.)
Leaving a 10-cm end, tie a chain of 6 ch. Cut the thread and finish. Sew on three pieces on each of the two sides of the shark's body, bending them slightly, as shown in the photo.
The author made the tail a little stiffer with a solution of PVA glue with water, but this is not necessary. You can make a fabric lining for a knitted pencil case (this is also up to you).
