The art of knitting is multifaceted. The production of knitted garments is a fascinating magical process, and knitting is an impressive part of the whole range of amazing possibilities of this ancient craft. We will try to figure out how to knit a raglan sweater with circular knitting needles. There are many options for such a model, we will consider the basic and most popular ones.

Raglan knitting

The elegant term "raglan" is nothing more than the surname of the British baron who lost his hand in the battle of Waterloo. Concealing a physical handicap, he preferred clothes with a cut-out sleeve connected to the shoulder of the back and front. Since then, the concept of raglan means a similar cut, and it is appreciated not only by seamstresses. The master of knitwear has long and successfully used it in such items as a pullover or a sweater with circular needles. The design of models with raglan sleeves is constructive and simple.

You can knit them from above or below. Both methods are equally good, but it is easier for inexperienced knitters to start work from the bottom of the elastic, although a competent calculation of the beginning of knitting from the neck will make the work much more interesting. The advantages of such products are:

Lack of seams;

More accurate canvas;

Any length adjustment if necessary.

True, when knitting a seamless product, some inconvenience is caused by a large number of loops on the fishing line, which limits the possibility of using patterns. But, gaining experience, the master does not notice such trifles.

Materials and tools

For a comfortable knitting process, you need to prepare:

Yarn of medium thickness (250 - 300 m in a hundred-gram skein) 600 -700 gr;

The needles on the line are several pairs of different sizes in the diameter and length of the line. For example, needles No. 2, 2.5, 3 with a line length of 60 and 120 cm. Elastic bands, as a rule, are made with smaller needles, and for the main fabric you will need to switch to thicker needles with an increased length of the fishing line;

5 stocking needles if you plan to make a sleeve without a seam;

Marking markers.

Knitting a sweater from the neck on circular needles: calculating loops

The actual process of making a sweater is preceded by the calculation of loops, for which a sample of the pattern that will be used in the product is knitted from 40 loops to a height of 12-13 cm. It is washed, dried and steamed, thus changing the texture of the fabric. After that, by measuring, the number of loops and rows contained in 1 cm is found out. It is customary to measure a square decimeter, and then divide by 10. In this case, the error will be minimal.

Craftsmen often use in their work a special, often made with their own hands, template - a cardboard or plastic frame, in the center of which is a cut-out square with a side of 10 cm. Putting it on the sample, write down the values, and then carry out the calculations. In the example shown, 2.5 loops fit in 1 cm.

Neck circumference calculation

When starting a model such as a women's sweater with circular knitting needles, be sure to calculate the length of the neck based on measurements of the neck circumference. According to the current domestic standards, the neck of the 48th size sweater is 36 cm. It is necessary to measure the client's neck, and then, using the established standards, adjust the measurements. We take 36 cm and the density calculated above for calculations. Number of loops to get started:

2.5 p * 36 cm = 90 pet.

Having calculated the total, the loops for the back, front, sleeves are calculated. The analysis is done as follows: the total number (90) is divided by 3, then from the number of loops falling on both sleeves, the ones used to form the raglan lines are subtracted.

90/3 = 30 p., That is, 30 loops each fall on the back and shelf.

Each raglan line consists of 2 pet., That is, there will be 8 of them in total.

30 - 8 = 22 p., 22 loops fall on 2 sleeves, i.e. 11 (22/2) for each.

How to get started

A sweater with circular knitting needles on top, you can start by knitting the collar or stick it after completing the entire model. Do not forget about the structural features of a person: the neckline in the front is much lower than on the back. Therefore, work begins with a sprout - increasing the height of the back and gradually "picking up" the required number of front loops. They do it like this:

Collect loops - 1 pet. shelves, 2 pet. raglan, 11 pet. sleeves, 2 pet. raglan, 30 pet. backs, 2 pet. raglan, 11 pet. sleeves, 2 pet. raglan, 1 pet. shelves. Markers, pins or colored thread mark the raglan lines. They are 2-person tracks. loops. Knit front rows by adding yarns around the raglan lines and at the end of each row adding several stitches for the shelf. Thus, the straight rotary rows are knitted until the required number of shelf loops is collected, that is, 30. Then the knitting is looped and the work continues. in circular rows, not forgetting to add raglan yarn overs in every second row.

The length of the raglan lines for the standard model of the 48th size is approximately 32 cm.

Execution of the model body

Having knitted with a circular cloth to the height of the armhole, continue knitting the sweater on circular knitting needles, forming the back and shelf of the product. All the loops of the sleeves are sent to the additional (cord) thread or knitting needles + 1 raglan loop on each side of the sleeve. Having knitted a row, combine the front and back, and then knit to the desired length in a circle, no longer making any increments. If desired, to obtain a more feminine model, the product is fitted, accordingly calculating the required number of decreases to the waist and increases to the hips. All of them are made along an imaginary seam. The elastic or plank is finished.

Sleeves

The sleeves are much easier to sew if knitted in straight rows. However, if the desire to see them seamless wins, then you can change the circular knitting needles to stocking needles and knit them like golf, not forgetting to make a decrease in every 6th row, knitting 2 times 2 loops together along the seam line. Note that a sweater with circular knitting needles without seams and with the same seamless sleeves is a rather difficult product, especially if performed by a knitter for the first time

Having tied the sleeve to the cuff, proceed to making the elastic. It should not be over-tightened. Its height is determined based on your own preferences or in accordance with the model being executed. The 2nd sleeve is made in the same way as the 1st.

Neck decoration

Having finished all parts of the product, they proceed to the final stage - knitting the gate.
The neck loops are transferred to the knitting needles, while carefully removing the additional (first) row. When a set of loops for the elastic, increments are made by pulling one loop every 3 from the broaches of the previous row. The height of the elastic is also individual or corresponds to the model you like.

Men's sweater with circular needles

The publication presents the most simple circuit knitting female model raglan sweaters. For men, it is also quite acceptable, you just need to calculate the length of the neck and adjust the required number of loops. For example, with a neck circumference of 43 cm and a declared density knitted fabric the calculations will be as follows:

43 * 2.5 = 108 pet.

108/3 = 36 pet., 36 pet. falls on the front and back

(36 - 8) / 2 = 14 pet., C14 pet. each sleeve will start.

The length of the raglan in models for men for 48-50 sizes is 38-40 cm. Based on these calculations, it is easy to make a product for a representative of the stronger sex, not forgetting that with an increase in the size of the model, the consumption of yarn also increases. The model with the presented measurements will take 750-800 grams. yarn.

Sweater with circular needles on the bottom

Using the techniques that we talked about, you can make the product from the bottom up. For this, a sample is also used, the required number of loops is calculated, taking the volume of the thighs as a basis. Those. with a density of 2.5 cm per 1 cm and about 100 cm, you will have to dial 250 loops for the elastic. Having looped knitting, perform an elastic band with knitting needles No. 2.5, to cause the fabric of the case, they switch to knitting needles No. 3 and in the first rad, add about 1 st loop every 10-12. Having knitted before the beginning of the armhole, the work is stopped.

Next, the sleeves are knitted to the armhole, and then all the details (sleeve-in-front-sleeve-back) are connected on circular knitting needles and performed together. The loops for the design of the raglan are reduced at the beginning and at the end of each detail (these lines are marked so as not to be mistaken). Having knitted to the neck, they begin to trim it - they perform a collar, a bar, an elastic band, etc.

Note that the method of knitting raglan is convenient in any version and opened up a lot of possibilities for decorating a model.

Video sweaters with circular needles

A knitted sweater without seams looks so neat and beautiful, as if it were not handwork, but typical machine knitting. For such a product, the raglan style is suitable for knitting armholes. Even an experienced knitter will not immediately decide on such a method of knitting a sweater, motivating it with the need for laborious, and sometimes simply complex, counting of loops. But it is the correct counting of loops and the observance of all the rules for tying raglan that make the work simple and uncomplicated, which, with careful study, can be done by a beginner.

Raglan knitting techniques

Raglan is a knitting method in which loops are added on the seam lines of the sleeves, front and back. By knitting in the presented way, it is possible to change the length of the sweater and sleeves over time, therefore this method is popular when knitting children's products - children grow up quickly, and instead of tying the sleeves, it is better to use a top tie.

Knitting armholes using the presented method does not require additional stitching of product parts. During work, at any stage of knitting a product, you can try on it and correct inaccuracies. Sweaters and sweaters begin to knit from above. Raglan fits well on the shoulders, so jumpers are great for women with wide shoulders. The product does not differ in the collection of the armpit area - this also includes a group of people with a non-standard body structure.

The method of performing raglan from the neck is carried out in 3 ways of connecting all parts of the product:

  1. The finished sweater has a narrow line knitted from one loop - in this case, loops are added on both sides.
  2. The second knitting option involves the presence of three stripes, where the addition occurs along the edges.
  3. You can make a wide bar in the form of braids, plaits, hemstitches and other embossed patterns - this will make the sweater attractive, since it will act as an openwork decoration. Additional patterns should not be used with this option.

Depending on the model of the jacket, the option of knitting raglan is selected. The choice of the option should be guided by the amount of yarn - if there is not much yarn, it is better to choose the simplest option for adding loops.

Advantages and disadvantages

The raglan knitted on top has advantages, among which are:

  • lack of seams, which allows the use of the presented knitting method for people with hypersensitivity skin and children;
  • economy in time in the absence of the need to stitch parts;
  • profitability of yarn - profitable knitting, taking into account the small number of balls;
  • the possibility of changing the size of products.

There are also disadvantages in the form of the inability to use additional patterns for women in knitting sweaters, as well as the presence of a large number of loops on circular knitting needles, which forces needlewomen to constantly monitor their number and carry out counting.

Loop calculation rules

Before you start knitting with raglan knitting needles from above for a woman, you should perform an accurate calculation of the required loops. For this, an example is given, which is modified to take into account its own size. In accordance with the rules, the following actions should be carried out:

  1. First, you should measure the size of the neck circumference. For a woman of size 48, the parameter is 36 cm. Depending on the neckline, the circumference may increase by several centimeters.
  2. Count the loops according to the knitting density. To calculate it correctly, you need to complete a sample - tie a rectangle or square of 25-30 loops to a height of 15 cm. Knit should be in the same pattern as the product is planned to be executed. The sample should be further wetted, dried and steamed with an iron, then allowed to rest.
  3. With a ruler, measure 1 cm of the resulting canvas and count the loops in it. For example, if we assume that there are 2.5 loops in a centimeter for a sweatshirt of size 48, you need to multiply the resulting number by 36. As a result, you get 90 - this is the calculation of the number of initial loops.
  4. The resulting value should be divided into parts - this is done as a percentage as follows: 45% falls on the front, 35% on the back, 10% on the sleeves.
  5. Subtract from the total number of loops those that will be on the raglan lines: 90-4 * 1 = 86. The number of loops may increase depending on the chosen method of knitting raglan lines. The example shows a simple increase of one loop in a line.
  6. The calculation result is presented as follows: 86x0.45 = 38 - this is the number of loops in front; 86x0.35 = 30 is the back; 86x0.1 = 9 - these are loops on one of the sleeves.

Having performed the calculation in this way, you should take care of the tools necessary for work.

Knitting tools

You will need the following tools to manually knit a raglan:

  • circular knitting needles with different diameters - you can use stockings to knit part of the sleeves without a seam;
  • in order to mark the parameters of the parts, markers are required;
  • suitable yarn, more convenient for knitting, is wool with acrylic in various percentages, it is allowed to use 100% cotton if it is a summer jacket for women;
  • row counter for circular knitting is a special device that allows you to count the rows and fix their number, which is necessary and convenient when knitting an openwork pattern on raglan lines.

Having prepared necessary materials, you can sit down to work. Knitting calms the nervous system, gives a sense of creativity and satisfaction with the result. This is what gives the knitting process interest and perseverance.

Operating procedure

An example is knitting a sweater for women with raglan on top. Since the initial loops were previously calculated in the amount of 90 pieces, type them on the knitting needles - immediately on the circular ones. First knit 2 rows as follows:

Tying the neck using the partial knitting method is carried out as follows:

This ends the neck strapping. Next, knitting proceeds with the involvement of the front loops, adding the same 3 loops in the same way as the back. The additions of loops come from broaches, according to this principle, knit up to 18 rows. In the 19 front row, remove the initial loop with a crochet. According to this pattern, you should knit up to 44 rows and remove the loop for the sleeve on a separate thread.

The finished product should be steamed with an iron, giving it beautiful view... The jacket, tied according to the standard raglan knitting scheme, is made.

Raglan sweater for a child with a slit

If tackling such knitting is cautious, you can use knitting for children - tie a raglan jacket for a child with a complication in the form of a cut at the neck. Then you can start knitting sweaters for yourself.

It is difficult for little children to put on sweaters under the neck - for them the style with a cut at the neck made in the front of the sweater will be very convenient. In this way, the size of the throat increases and the baby's head easily passes through it. It can also be knitted with circular knitting needles, raglan on top. The calculation of the loops is performed in the same way as described above, but 2 edge loops are added - knitting is performed not in a circle, but with a turn, therefore, edge loops are required. The neckline, slit, cuffs and bottom of the sweater can be knitted with a knitted pattern or similar.

The "putanka" pattern is made up of the alternation of two types of loops, which in the other row over the front types are knitted with the wrong ones, and over the wrong ones - the front ones. Having knitted the sweater to the length of the strip, trimmed with a pattern of alternating loops, switch to circular knitting needles and work, as usual, with the raglan product on top.

Such complications may not be used in "training". It is enough to tie a sweater with a wide neck, and then tie it with a 1x1 elastic band - it is more elastic, so the child's head will pass through the collar better and faster.

Jumper with a through fastening

This style differs from others in that the row does not close into a ring. The whole product is made in rows with turns and, in addition to the edging, the loops of the strap are added here, they are typed immediately with a set of loops for the neck. This is a more complicated model and knitting technique, although some beginners find such knitting more easy way.

For example, the calculation of loops for a women's blouse of size 48 is taken. As already determined, 90 loops are required. In this technique, 2 edge loops and 7-9 loops for the bar are added to them - loops will be knitted on them and buttons will be sewn on. The calculation of the loops is carried out in the form of 90 + 2 + 9 = 101 loops.

Planks are made on both sides of the row. On the side where the buttonhole is planned, the knitter sews the buttonhole at an equal distance from each other. These "holes" are made in sequence: in the front row on the bar, tie two loops together, and in the purl row add a yarn over in this place. In the next row, knit it like a regular loop. If you plan to use large buttons, then you need to close 2-4 loops, and dial the same number of loops on the back side, then the loop will be large.

Such a product can be decorated with any embossed or openwork pattern, since with such double-sided knitting it will not be difficult to do this.

Knitted products will always be in fashion, because each of them is original and unique. Having learned to knit, the craftswoman will receive a hobby and will dress the whole family in fashionable, beautiful and inexpensive things. Moreover, knitting normalizes the nervous system, which is necessary in the presence of diseases of the nervous system. Speech therapists also advise using knitting to treat stuttering and even burrs.

In this MK, I will not dwell on how to calculate the loops for knitting raglan from the neck, since this is a topic separate article in which it is described in detail. Here, the goal is to show the process itself.

So, we collect 52 loops, of which: on the back 24 loops, on the sleeves - 10 loops each (10 x 2 = 20 sts.), And then, ATTENTION: we do not dial for the front of the loop, only loops for two of his RL are 3 x 2 = 6 loops, +2 edge loops.

For the part of the front of the loop, we do not type, because we will gradually add them along the edges in the process of knitting with air loops - to form a deepening of the neckline. If this is not done, the product will "pull" back and sit badly! This is one of the mistakes knitters make when knitting raglan from the neck.

And now in detail by rows:

1st row (front side of work): edge, knit 5 out of three loops (this is a fan of the RL front), again knit 5 from 3 loops (for RL of the right sleeve), 4 front loops directly for the sleeve, knit 5 out of 3 loops ( RL sleeves on the other side), again from 3 loops 5 (this is already RL of the back), 18 front loops of the back, from 3 loops 5 (RL of the back on the other side), from 3 loops 5 (RL of the left sleeve ), 4 front loops of the sleeves, from 3 loops 5 (RL sleeves on the other side), from 3 loops 5 (RL front), edge - in this row we distributed loops for parts and RL.

  • Note: as you understand, from the number of loops that we have designed for the back and sleeves, we subtracted 6 loops for the RL. In the same way, you need to do in the case of performing other types of RL - the number of loops required to knit them, subtract from the total number of loops for the back or sleeves, and knit the remaining loops with the main pattern. The number of loops for the back and sleeves can be changed to suit your size.

Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Rsv1-300x99.jpg 300w "style =" padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px none; height: auto; max-width: 98.5%; width: auto; "width =" 510 "/>

After knitting the first row, loops for RL, back and sleeves are distributed.

3rd row: knit an air loop at the beginning of the row with a crossed front loop, then all front loops. At the end of the row, add 1 VP.

4th row: Knit VP at the beginning of the row with a purl crossed loop, then knit all loops with purl, and at the end of the row add 2 VP.

5th row: 2 VP, dialed in the previous row, knit with front crossed loops, 4 front (loops for the front), from 3 loops 5 (2 times in a row), 8 front (loops of sleeves), from 3 loops 5 (2 times) , 22 front (back loops), from 3 loops 5 (2 times), 8 front (loop of sleeves), from 3 loops 5 (2 times), 4 front (loops in front), at the end of row 2 VP.

This is how knitting looks at the end of the 5th row. The outlined RL are already visible, and at the end of the row you see 2 VP:

Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Rsv2-300x132.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

Now you can make a control count of the loops. The number of loops of the back and front should be equal. Now, after the 5th row, for the backrest in total (together with the RL loops) we have 32 loops, and for the shelves - 11 loops each. Therefore, for the shelves, you need to add 5 more loops each to get 16 loops, and then there will be the same number of loops for the front as for the back (16 x 2 = 32 stitches). Therefore, further we knit:

6th row: 2 VP at the beginning of the row, knit purl crossed, then all purl loops, at the end of the row 5 VP.

7th row: We knit 5 VP with crossed front loops, then all the front loops, at the end of the row 5 VP.

8th row: 5 VP knit with crossed purl, then - all purl loops.

Now we have the number of back and front loops equal, and there is no need to add air loops. We continue to knit simply with stocking knitting, while simultaneously performing RL, as described above, and knitting the hem to obtain a chain-like edge (remove the first, the last purl).

Important notes:

  1. If you knit a product bigger size, then you need to add loops for the front in accordance with your size and the desired depth of the neckline. So, after you have added 2 VPs, in the next rows you add 3 or 4 VPs, you can add 3 VPs several times in a row, then a large number of loops to equal the number with the back - all this needs to be adjusted for each product and cutout individually.
  2. If you plan to knit a one-piece fastener strap, then in addition to the front loops, you need to get more air loops on each side of the loops for the slats - loops of 5-6 on each side, and accordingly knit them already, like planks, performing slotted loops on one of them. In my version of MK, I propose to tie the straps later separately.
  3. If you plan to knit a product without a fastener, like a sweater or a pullover, then after the number of front and back loops is equal, you need to connect the ends of the row and continue further knit in a circle.

Continuation of knitting back and front

Next, we continue to knit, performing the addition of loops using the RL, until we reach the armpit line. This can be determined either by trying on the product for the future owner, or guided by the size of the pattern - we look at the length of the RL (in my case, it is 16 cm), as well as the width of the back-front and sleeves.

Then we proceed as follows. On the front side of the work, we knit the loops of the front (left shelf), inclusively, with the loops of the RL in front of the front loops (we no longer do the addition of 3 loops 5). Next, the loops of the sleeves with the loops of its RL, inclusive, are reshomed with a knitted needle on a thick thread of a contrasting color, we tie the ends of the thread.

We continue to knit the back loops. Having tied it to the second sleeve, we reshoot its loops in the same way, and then we tie the row to the end with the loops of the right shelf. Now we have only the back and front loops on the needles:

Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Rsv5-300x157.jpg 300w "width =" 540 "/>

We continue to knit the main "body" of the sweater to the desired length. As I already wrote at the beginning of the article, it is now easy to determine the length - just try on this, for now, sleeveless jacket. Fortunately, both circular knitting needles with a flexible connection, and the fact that the loops of the sleeves are gathered on an elastic thread, allow you to do this without difficulty. Well, if there is no one nearby to try on, we check the size for the pattern.

The result is this:

And it was possible to tie some pretty one at the bottom jacquard pattern , yes even lazy , or just finish with a 1 × 1 or 2 × 2 rubber band. The variability in knitting never ceases to amaze me ...

    Hello! As promised, I will finish the description of the master class started in previous article ... Let me remind you - we learned to knit raglan with knitting needles from above and have already managed to knit almost the entire jacket, only so far without sleeves, fastener strips and necklines. Let's continue.

    How to knit sleeves in a circle

    At the base of the sleeve we attach (tie) the thread and on the circular knitting needles we begin to reshoot the loops from the thread (we do not pull the thread out yet). We collect about half of the sleeve loops:

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r1-300x186.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    Then we pull the knitting needle by the end to the left so that the dialed loops are closer to the other (right) end of the knitting needle, and reshoot the remaining loops on the left knitting needle:

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r2-300x155.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    After you have made sure that all the loops have been safely reshomed onto the needles (not a single loop has been "dropped"), you can untie and pull out the thread. The position of the knitting needles should be as follows: the loops lie on the left knitting needle, ready to knit, the right knitting needle is extended along with the long part of the line.

    Now attention! Before you start knitting the first row, you need to pick up (knit) several loops from the loops of the front and back directly under the sleeve. If this is not done, then holes will simply form in your armpits. We select the loops in any order, knitting them either directly from the loops, or from the broaches between them. The main thing is to prevent the formation of holes.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r3-300x161.jpg 300w "style =" padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px none; height: auto; max-width: 98.5%; width: auto; "width =" 510 "/>

    We select loops under the sleeve so that there is no hole.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r4-300x129.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    Now we turn the knitting so that the working thread is on the right. We pull the other end of the knitting needle along the fishing line so that the loops are already on it ready for knitting, and we pull the first end of the knitting needle with the flexible part forward:

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r5-300x144.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    Such "manipulations" with tightening the ends of the needles must be done every time, as soon as one half of the sleeve loops is knitted. This allows the sleeve to be knit in a circle using just one pair of circular needles.

    After knitting the first row, you need to see if you need to additionally pick up loops from the armhole to avoid holes, the "extra" loops in the next row can be knitted 2 together. We count the loops on the needles of each half of the sleeve. If necessary, redistribute the loops equally.

    Now it remains to knit the sleeve in a circle, pulling the ends of the needles, as described above. In the place of the intended seam of the sleeve, it will be necessary to make subtractions so that the sleeve tapers downward.

    We do subtractions like this. At the beginning of the row we knit 2 loops together with the front one with a tilt to the right. After knitting 3 more rows after this row, we do the next decrease already at the end of the row and while knitting 2 loops together with the front one with a tilt to the left.

    And so we alternate every 3 rows: at the beginning of the row 2 loops together with the front one with a tilt to the right, next time - at the end of the row 2 loops together with the front one with a tilt to the left. It turns out here is such an imaginary "seam" of loops decreases:

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r6-300x235.jpg 300w "width =" 507 "/>

    • Note: decreasing loops can be done differently. You can simultaneously make decreases at the beginning and end of the same row every 5 or 7 rows (depending on how steep you need to make the narrowing of the sleeve), but with this method, the bevel of the sleeve will not be smooth, but may look slightly stepped.

    So we knit the sleeve to the desired length. I have planned to knit the bar in this model "Mess" ... Therefore, in order to comply with the strap, I decided to put a small finishing strip along the bottom of the sleeve, also from the "putanka" (6 rows) and the same scalloped edge , as on the bottom of the back and front. To do this, after 6 rows of the prostitute, I knitted 2 more rows with the front stitch, then a row for holes-teeth, alternating the yarn, 2 together with the front. Then a few more rows of the front surface and closed the loops.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-r8-300x168.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    It is clear that you can finish knitting the sleeve in a different way. Make a regular rubber band, for example.

    Knitting planks

    Since a blank was made for the jagged edge along the bottom, I had to finish it to the end before starting to knit the planks. That is, the edge needs to be hemmed. We bend the edge to the seamy side along the row with the holes and carefully hem it with ordinary bobbin threads to match the yarn, making sure that the cloves lie flat and the fabric does not tighten on the seamy side.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-n-300x168.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    Now for the slats we will select loops from the edge loops of the shelves on the front side of the work. Therefore, for the right plank, we begin to select the loops from the bottom, and for the left shelf - from the top.

    We select the loops as follows: after attaching the thread, we knit 2 loops from the first loop of the chain of the edge loops of the shelf - once we insert a knitting needle under both walls of the loop, the next time - only under the front wall. From the next edge loop we knit only one loop, only under both walls. And so we alternate every other time: once we knit 2 loops, once one.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-p1-300x151.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    This method of selection of loops is optimal if you need to pick up loops from the vertical edge for subsequent horizontal knitting, so that the fabric lays down evenly without pulling the edge. This method is suitable if the edging was knitted, removing the first loop, and knitting the last purl.

    From the next (purl) row, we already knit a bar with a "putanka" pattern (aka "small rice"). If we knit for a girl, then on the right plank it is necessary to additionally perform slit loops (for a boy this should be done on the left plank, if it is fundamentally correct). To do this, we count the number of strap loops and distribute evenly through how many loops you need to make loops, depending on their number.

    I began to make loops on the 3rd row of the plank (from the seamy side of the work). For one slit, I closed 2 loops with an equal number of loops. And in the next row above closed hinges dialed 2 air loops,which in the next knitted with crossed loops in the rhythm of the main pattern.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-p2-300x119.jpg 300w "style =" padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px none; height: auto; max-width: 98.5%; width: auto; "width =" 510 "/>

    First, at regular intervals, close 2 loops,

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-p3-300x133.jpg 300w "style =" padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px none; height: auto; max-width: 98.5%; width: auto; "width =" 510 "/>

    In the next row, above the closed loops, we collect 2 air loops, which we then knit with crossed loops in the rhythm of the pattern.

    Having knitted a total of 7 rows after the set of loops, on the 8th row we close all the loops of the plank in the rhythm of the "tangled" pattern on the front side of the work. Thus, after closing the loops of the right plank at the end of the row, the thread is at the top, at the neck. You can not cut it off, but leave it to knit the edging of the neckline.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-p4-300x131.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    Neck decoration

    I decided to make the neckline edging double elastic band in the form of a small stand-up collar. I admit that this is not the most the best option neck decoration, but, as an option, it can sometimes be used. Therefore, just in case, I will describe how I did it.

    We collect loops along the edge of the neck on the front side of the work. There are no special rules here, we just try to make it look neat, especially in the area of the front neckline.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-g1-300x131.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    1st row (seamy side of work): purl loops.

    2nd row (front side of work): purl loops again.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-g2-300x151.jpg 300w "style =" padding: 0px; margin: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px none; height: auto; max-width: 98.5%; width: auto; "width =" 510 "/>

    After knitting the 2nd row.

    3rd row (seamy side of work): hem, then alternate 3 purl loops, yarn, at the end of the row 3 purl (or whatever happens) and hem. Nakida was added to increase the number of loops, since the double elastic will tighten the fabric.

    4th row: (we proceed directly to tying double elastic bands), edging, then alternate: 1 front, remove 1 loop untied (thread in front of the loop). In this case, it turns out that the yarn made in the previous row will need to be removed untied.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-g3-300x135.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    5th row and subsequent rows: we knit like the 4th row. We knit the loop removed in the previous row with the front one, and remove the one that was front in the previous row (thread before work).

    We knit with a double elastic band to the height you need (I have 6 rows, but it looks like 3 on a regular elastic band).

    We close the loops over the face of the work. How to do this is described in detail in my article about a double elastic band, but just in case I will remind you. We remove the front loop, and the one that needs to be removed when knitting a double elastic band, this time we knit with a purl and stretch through the removed front loop... The loop formed by knitting two loops together in this way is pulled again through the previous loop on the right knitting needle, as is usually done when the loops are closed.

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-g4-300x169.jpg 300w "width =" 510 "/>

    It remains to sew on the buttons, hem the bottom of the sleeves and carefully tuck in the ends of the threads. That's it!

    Target = "_blank"> http://vivatvyazanie.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/r-got-300x230.jpg 300w "width =" 509 "/>

Detailed lesson. Knitting blouses without seams. Getting started - from below

Knitting a shirt with no seams with raglan sleeves has several advantages. Firstly, the product is knitted entirely on circular knitting needles, with this knitting method there is no final stage of stitching connected parts, therefore there are no side seams. Secondly, in the process of knitting, you can try on a blouse and immediately adjust to the figure by changing the flaws. Of course, there is a minus in knitting a thing entirely at once due to the fact that a large number of loops are in the work at once.

Pinterest

Before you start knitting a blouse, take measurements, since by this description knitting of a blouse starts at the bottom and goes upwards, then the beginning of knitting will be on the hips. Take a measurement of the hip girth, tie a knitting pattern and, according to the density of the loops, calculate the required number of loops for a set in length equal to the hip girth + 1-2 cm for a free fit.
Cast on the loops on the circular needles, close the knitting into a ring and knit circular rows, first performing a 1x1 elastic, then go to facial surface or the selected pattern. Knit the main part of the blouse from hips to armholes.
The body of the blouse can be knitted in a free silhouette straight or with a fit, forming darts at the waist with decreases and additions.
For sleeves, also calculate the number of loops for the set, making an allowance of 1-2 cm, cast on 4 knitting needles, lock them into a ring and knit the sleeve of the desired length in circular rows.
At the height of the armholes, connect the tied sleeves and the main part of the blouse together. On the main part, notice the side points - dividing the loops in half into the front and back. Having tied to one side, knit the loops of the sleeves from the stocking needles, leaving the last loops not knitted for a length of 3-5 cm (depending on the size) for the seam of the base of the armhole. On the side, leave the same number of stitches unkit, replacing them with an additional knitting needle or pin.
Next, knit back loops to the second side point and connect the second sleeve in the same way, leaving the loops of the main part and sleeves. These not knitted loops can be immediately sewn with a knitted stitch, this line is necessary so that when you raise your hand, the sleeve does not break and the raglan falls more evenly. The sleeves, front and back loops are now gathered together on circular knitting needles. Next, knit the blouse, knitting the reductions along the raglan lines, which will pass at the joints of the sleeves and the main part of the blouse.
Knitting blouses without seams
Raglan lines are formed using subtractions. When knitting loops from the sleeve to the back or in front of the last 3rd and 2nd loops, knit together with the broach, the last loop of the sleeve and the first loop of the back or front knit with the front and the next 2 loops of the front or back knit together with one front. When knitting the raglan line from the front or back to the sleeve, also knit the penultimate 2 loops together with the broach, the last loop of the front or back and the first loop of the sleeve with the front, the next two loops of the sleeve together with the front.
Raglan decreases in each row, every row, or every two rows, depending on the density of the knit, to form lines of the desired length from the armhole to the neck.
When the neckline is the correct diameter, knit several rows with an elastic band and close the loops.
