How to make a paper chocolate envelope. Do-it-yourself chocolate girl

Hello everyone!
Today I will finally fulfill my promise and tell you how I made such a chocolate maker:

However, the object of our attention will be the interior design. I have already said and I want to repeat again: the idea of \u200b\u200bsuch a construction does not belong to me, but to a talented person unknown to me who posted a photo of his creation on the network. Here I will show and tell you how I made a chocolate maker with such pockets.

For work we need cardboard, scrap paper, glue, cutting and creasing tools. I do not mention decorations here, because the decor of the outer part of the chocolate maker will not be included in the master class. But what else will not prevent you from working with its "insides" is a real chocolate bar and tea bags :) I will tell here all the parameters of my pockets, but keep in mind that they are tested only on a certain type of chocolate and tea :)
So, let's start preparing the details for our chocolate maker.
For its base, we cut out a 17x22 cm rectangle from cardboard and bend it in the middle (at a distance of 10 and 12 cm from the edge).

The second detail is the future pocket for the chocolate. It starts with a 10x12 cm cardboard rectangle. Make folds on the rectangle as shown in the photo. The distance between adjacent lines is 1 cm. We roll the long side from both sides, the short side from one.

And one more type of parts for which we need a creasing. These are future tea bag pockets. We take rectangles measuring 8.8x14 cm. We crease along the long sides from two edges at a distance of 1 cm from the edge. We also make a fold line across, dividing the 14 cm side by 6 and 8 cm.

The creasing tool can be set aside. Now we have to make some cuts. We transform the chocolate pocket like this (I think you can easily do this by comparing two photos)

Cut the remaining punched squares on one side and turn them into "ears":

Then we simply bend our detail along all the fold lines -

... and it will fold itself into such a bag. Glue the "ears" to the "bottom" of the pocket, glue the transverse strip along the edges too.
What you see in the photo below is the back view of the pocket. For these folded edges, we will then glue it to the base.

Now let's move on to the tea pockets. From our blanks we cut out just such a detail (we cut off the edges at the shorter half)

We bend it - and we get such a nice pocket. I rounded the corners of the valves with a special hole punch.

We glue the front side to the valves. We repeat the whole procedure with two other pockets :)

That, in fact, is all the difficulty :) it remains to glue the pockets to the base (previously pasted over with scrap paper). Don't forget to try on the chocolate bar and bags :)

This master class is based on the video tutorial by Irina Melnikova “Chocolate Girl Using Scrapbooking Technique”, which shows how you can make a series of 3 chocolate girls with different designs.

For work you will need (for 1 chocolate maker):

  • chocolate maker template (can be found on the Internet);
  • design paper or cardboard for scrapbooking (density from 200 mg) - 20 cm × 26 cm;
  • a piece of cardboard for the backing (15.6 cm × 7.6 cm);
  • decorative paper;
  • decorative elements for decoration (cutting, cutting, flowers, lace, etc.);
  • 2 ribbons (ties);
  • glue "Moment Crystal";
  • sewing machine (optional).

Stages of work

Cardboard blank

Print a template for a chocolatier from the Internet.

The template used in this lesson. - Ed.

On the cardboard on the long side (26 cm), set aside 1 cm and crease.

Measure another 1 cm from the first scoring and carry out the second scoring.

The height of the chocolate maker will be 16 cm (according to the template). We put this length on the short side of the cardboard, starting from the second crease. We carry out the third scoring.

Set aside 1 cm from the third scoring and carry out the fourth scoring.

There, on each side of the main size of the chocolate maker, there were 2 valves, each 1 cm wide.

We turn the workpiece over: we place it with the long side towards us. Set aside 8 cm (according to the template). We carry out the scoring.

Set aside 1 cm from the first scoring. We carry out the second scoring.

Set aside 8 cm from the second scoring. We carry out the third scoring.

Set aside 1 cm from the third scoring. We carry out the fourth scoring.

Cut off unnecessary parts (focusing on the template).

It turns out a blank in the shape of the letter "T".

We bend the workpiece along the creases.

Decorating

For each blank, you need to additionally prepare a cardboard backing. The dimensions of the underlay should be 2 mm less than the template on each side.

It is the substrate that is decorated. Then it is sewn to the template.

We choose decorative paper with different patterns, but in the same thematic direction for all three chocolate makers. For example, the topic "Botany".

Cut out blanks for substrates.

In random order, we form the decor of each chocolate maker.

Advice: if you use a small piece of the main background of another chocolate maker in the design of one chocolate maker, the “seriality” of all three packages will be emphasized.

The decor uses a variety of cuttings, cuttings, lace, artificial flowers, etc.

When appearance each chocolate maker is determined, you need to take a picture of everything so that in further work you do not miss some important element decor.

When the main details of the chocolate maker's decor are assembled, on sewing machine decorative stitches are laid. These can be zigzags or other interesting types of stitching.

You can sew along the perimeter of the backing, you can make several lines directly on the pattern.

When the stitching is in place, the ends of the thread are brought out to the wrong side and secured with glue.

We attach the ribbons-ties. To do this, mark the middle on the long side of the chocolate maker.

We glue the ribbons with glue.

We glue the decorated substrate to the chocolate bowl.

We decorate the back side of the chocolate maker.

Apply glue to the valves on both sides and assemble the chocolate maker.

On the inside of the chocolate maker, you can write a wish.

You can just stick a nice picture.

You can glue the pocket for the bill.

Most people want to give their loved ones something special and so that the gift will be remembered for a long time. You can always donate money, but this will not surprise. It's another matter if you attach to this a beautifully decorated chocolate bar with tea. Almost everyone is very fond of chocolate and will be happy with such a present, especially if you present it for the New Year.

A chocolate girl is an envelope in which chocolate or a pocket for a bill is packed. Such an interesting product can be made to your taste and with any color.

Now we will analyze in detail the basics of making a chocolate maker, which is decorated with flowers from corrugated paper with a tie on ribbons. What kind tools will be needed to create a chocolate maker:

How to make a chocolate maker with your own hands

The size of the chocolate maker is different due to many factors that become clear during work. Take A4 sheet, find template for work and study the dimensions.

Then let's do creating the foundation: cut out a rectangle of the required size and mark the fold lines with a pencil. We take a ruler and press the folds from the seamy side of the design cardboard with our knitting needle, but be careful not to tear the cardboard.

Then we erase the lines that we drew with a pencil, we don't remove the ruler, we continue to bend the cardboard with it. Such a measure helps to avoid creases, the box and folds will come out nice and even on both sides.

Now let's move on to interior decoration. We draw along the cuts of the rectangle curly hole punch or you can use curly scissors and decorative tape. First, we make hearts at a certain distance from each other, after that we add more holes.

Cut out two rectangles from cardboard with a golden tint, each part is 1 cm smaller than the dimensions of the canvas of each pocket. For example, the canvas of a pocket for a bill and a chocolate bar is 10x20 cm.

The rectangles that are on the seamy part can be marked with a pencil, and cut out using a clerical knife and a ruler. In this case, the cuts will turn out to be clear and even, if you choose simple scissors, creases can form.

We will take one of the rectangles for finishing the front side, and we will need the second one for decorating the substrate for money.

In the two corners of the golden-tinted rectangle, we make two holes with a heart punch. We glue it with hearts in the center of the chocolate maker on the canvas for the bill so that on each side of the rectangle there is a white border with the width we need. To glue everything together, it is better to take PVA glue.

After all these actions we place the workpiece under the press ten minutes for a good roll.

More you need to take care of the ties in advance, otherwise it will be difficult to thread the tape later. We cut the ribbon to the required length, then we make it so that the ribbon wraps around the chocolate maker along its narrow part and can be freely tied on a bow (you need to iron the ribbon before work).

We make cuts according to the scheme and thread the tape through the holes. Move the tape so that its center falls on the inner fold of the chocolate maker.

Let's move on to creating pockets again.

According to the template, we cut out two ends from cardboard, lay bends and cut off the corners. On the front side of the cardboard wings, we apply two strips of adhesive tape, remove special paper from each part of the end and glue pockets for chocolate on each side of the body.

We pull off the protective paper from one end and glue the pocket, do the same with the other side. We turn to the pocket for the bill: on the top and bottom of the money pocket, put a small strip of PVA glue and leave the pocket under the press. That's it, the inside is ready.

Chocolate girl with her own hands scrapbooking, master class

it unique technique, which is needed to create the correct exterior finish of the elements. After we have made a golden rectangle, glue it with PVA to the desired surface. Then we cut out another rectangle and glue it on a large scotch tape to increase the volume of the cover of our chocolate maker.

Scrapbooking technique not very popular, but very simple. In the end, you can choose any packaging of your choice, design and package beautifully.

When you are afraid to make a mistake with a gift, you can always replace it with a bill. But what if you attach a chocolate bar to it? You will get a wonderful present that will be accepted both with gratitude and with surprise, whoever it is intended for: a child, colleague or school teacher. Among needlewomen, so-called chocolate makers are gaining popularity (i.e. envelopes for chocolates and, perhaps, a pocket for a bill), which, of course, can be made with your own hands and decorated to your liking. Our master class contains detailed instructions for beginners, which will allow you to master the basics of creating a chocolate maker decorated with flowers from corrugated paper with a tie on ribbons.

To make a chocolate maker with your own hands, you needed:

pearl design cardboard;

ordinary golden cardboard;

corrugated paper, unbleached or pearl color;

pearlescent white or yellowish buttons;

white or pearl color satin ribbons - 0.5 and 1 cm wide;

sewing needle;

unbleached sewing thread;

pVA glue;

hot silicone glue in the gun;

double-sided volumetric and non-volumetric tape;

simple pencil;

stationery knife;

breadboard knife;

curly hole punch (in our case - with a heart);

knitting needle or toothpick for laying folds;

self-growing cutting mat.

How to make a template for a chocolate maker with your own hands

The dimensions of the chocolate maker will differ in each case. If you are planning to give a bill and a chocolate bar, the size of the finished chocolate maker in our master class will be determined by the larger item. It's a chocolate bar.

I already have designer cardboard folded for postcards, but I advise you to take an A4 sheet (as a rule, the chocolate easily fits with the long part of the wrapper to the narrow part of the sheet, and the width of the chocolate is set three times along the long part of the sheet).

We look at the template shown in the photo.

Let's deal with the template. We look at the rectangle "canvas pocket for chocolate". This is our size of the chocolate plus 0.5-1 cm to the width and height so that the chocolate can freely enter the chocolate maker. Please note: parts per volume are exactly equal to the thickness of the chocolate. She shouldn't hang out.

The fabric of the pocket for the bill and for the chocolate are the same. But the width of the body of each pocket may differ: I made a deeper pocket for the chocolate. However, apart from the visual effect, this does not really matter. Because our hand-made chocolate maker will be tied with ribbons, and the pockets are facing the center, and the money and the tied chocolate have no chance of falling out of the chocolate maker.

In addition to a large rectangle from a sheet of design cardboard, we also cut out two ends of a pocket for a chocolate bar. The shaded parts are places for gluing, they can be of any width. Attention - to the rectangle inside the end. Its narrow part is equal to the thickness of the chocolate bar, and the long one is equal to the body of the pocket for the chocolate bar (the narrow part of the rectangle on the right).

If your sheet of design cardboard does not fit the described template, we make a chocolate bowl from two sheets; just cut the template along any of the folds and add the missing fragment from the second sheet, while attaching a 0.5-1 cm strip to glue for applying glue.

DIY postcard chocolate: making the basis

We cut out a rectangle of the required size (see the template of the chocolate maker above) and outline the fold lines with a pencil. We press the folds under the ruler from the seamy side of the design cardboard using a skewer, a toothpick, or a not very sharp knitting needle. The main thing is not to break through the cardboard!

Don't forget to erase the pencil lines with an eraser.

We do not remove the ruler - we bend our cardboard along it. This measure will avoid creases, the folds will turn out nice and neat on both sides.

How to make a chocolate maker with your own hands: interior decoration

Along the slices of the rectangle, i.e. on the body of two pockets, we go through a curly hole punch. You can use curly scissors or glue the cut with decorative paper tape. At first, I made the hearts at a considerable distance from each other, but then I added more holes.

Cut out two rectangles from golden cardboard, each side of which is 1 cm smaller than the dimensions of the canvas of each pocket. For example, the canvas of a pocket for a chocolate bar or a bill is 10x20 cm. Then the golden rectangles will have dimensions of 9x19 cm (i.e. 10-1 \u003d 9 and 20-1 \u003d 19 cm).

The rectangles on the seamy part can be marked with a pencil, but it is better to cut them out using a clerical knife under the ruler: then the sections will be clearer, and along the edge of the rectangle we will avoid the annoying formation of small creases that may appear when cutting with scissors.

One of the rectangles will go for finishing the front side, and the second will be needed to decorate the backing for the bill. Moreover, I have there a place for gluing parts of the design cardboard, which I really wanted to disguise.

In two corners of one golden rectangle, I made two holes with a punch-heart.

We glue it with hearts to the center of the chocolate maker on the canvas of the money pocket so that on each side around the golden rectangle there is a white border 0.5 cm wide.I recommend PVA glue for gluing, after which the workpiece is placed under the press for 10 minutes - for better adhesion.

We must take care of the ties now, during the design of the inside of the chocolate maker, otherwise in the future, when the pockets are ready, it will be extremely inconvenient to thread the ribbon.

We cut off the ribbon of sufficient length: it is necessary that the ribbon wraps around the chocolate maker along its narrow part and can be freely tied with a bow. It is recommended to iron the tape before work.

So, from the height of the pocket canvas, we subtract the width of the prepared tape and divide the resulting number by two. If we have a pocket width of 21 cm, and a ribbon width of 1 cm, then (21-1): 2 \u003d 10 cm.We measure 10 cm from the top of the pocket for a chocolate bar and make two vertical cuts with a clerical knife 1 wide -1.2 cm. In these holes we pass the tape, as shown in the photo.

Move the tape so that its center is approximately on the inner fold of the chocolate maker.

We return to the formation of pockets.

Cut out the ends of the pocket from the design cardboard according to the template - 2 pcs. Laying the folds.

Cut off the corners.

On the front side of the cardboard on the wings, which are shaded on the template, we apply two narrow strips of double-sided tape. In this case, it is convenient to use it.

Remove the protective paper from one part of each end and glue pockets for chocolate on each side of the body.

We remove the protective paper from one end and glue the pocket, carefully aligning the fold of the end part with the cut of the canvas. We do the same for the second side. We get a good pocket.

We return to the pocket for the bill. Apply a thin strip of PVA glue to the upper and lower narrow part of the body of the money pocket and leave the pocket under the press.

The interior is ready.

Do-it-yourself chocolate girl using scrapbooking technique: elements of external decoration

Moving on to the most interesting thing: the exterior of the chocolate maker. We have already cut out the golden rectangle - and now we will glue it on PVA or double-sided tape. Please note: at the same time, we stretch the tie ribbon along the outer part so that it is in the right place. And glue the golden rectangle on it.

Cut out another rectangle from the same design cardboard. Each side of it should be 1 cm smaller than that of the golden rectangle. We will stick the white rectangle on the volumetric double-sided tape to add volume to the cover of the chocolate maker.

Congratulation

We make a congratulatory plate: on a small rectangle of design cardboard we write the words of congratulation. Cut out a rectangle from the remnants of golden cardboard, each side of which is 1 cm larger than that of a light congratulatory plate.

We put them aside for now: we will return to them already at the final stage of making the chocolate maker.

Flowers

Of corrugated paper cut out small rectangles, about 7x5 cm (for each flower - one such rectangle).

Pay attention to the direction of the paper squeezing: this is important

Cut around the perimeter, cutting off the folds and rounding the narrow part of the rectangle into a petal.

We take the opposite parts of each oval and twist it in the center so that we get two petals.

Now we take three such pairs and sew them into a flower with an ordinary sewing needle. Some skill is required here, so prepare a little more cut paper than you really need for a postcard: you will be able to choose the most successful flowers.

We do not cut the thread: another 2-3 stitches - for sewing on the button in the center of the paper flower. After that, we bring the needle to the seamy part of the flower, make a knot and cut the thread.

For a chocolate postcard, I needed 3 flowers.

Leaflets: from tape and "cutting"

As you can see, the leaves on the chocolate maker are of two types. For the first, I cut a narrow white ribbon into small pieces so that I could fold them into loops. The edge of the loop was fixed with a thread - just a couple of stitches.

From the remnants of golden cardboard I cut out two rectangles, right on which I drew twigs with leaves by hand from the wrong side.

It is convenient to cut them out with a breadboard knife. If there is no such knife, you can use nail scissors.

These are the leaves I got.

DIY paper chocolate girl: cover assembly

We warm up the gun with glue. At this time, we determine the location of the finished elements of our chocolate maker.

Twigs will go as the bottom layer. We put two drops of hot glue and embed our twigs in them.

Then we put one large blot in the place of one of the flowers. In this blot we quickly sink the loop-leaves from the ribbon and on top - the flowers themselves. You have to work quickly. We repeat the same for the other two leaves. Everything seems to work out.

I also put the congratulatory tag on silicone glue: firstly, the gun is already warmed up, and secondly, the additional volume in this place will not interfere. I placed the gold backing under the corner, and the plate - right.

A hand-made chocolate maker is ready for our master class.

But if there is no time left to buy a chocolate bar, the gift will help out with money. Once we have already told - we hope this article will help present the present in a truly beautiful way.

Eva Casio specially for the site

Hello, dear readers of the Domovyonok-Art blog! I am very glad to meet you! Today I treat everyone to virtual chocolate🍫, and at the same time share my experience. That's right, today there will be a master class, from which you will learn how to make such a cute and very comfortable postcard chocolate do it yourself.

These postcards can rightfully be considered a lifesaver for all occasions, or rather holidays, and to be more precise, not for everything, but for many. And fortunately for needlewomen, people who are not indifferent to handmade , a lot, so going to a holiday and taking with you such a postcard-chocolate, there is a high probability to make a pleasant impression on the recipient of the gift and leave a piece of your love in your heart💓.

The peculiarity of today's chocolate maker is that

Tile pocket
Made along the entire length of the postcard.
And above and below the tile is closed,
Therefore, the chocolate does not fall out.

Spontaneous poetic pause))) Yes, the pocket is equipped with a small window.

Well, in general, it is quite convenient and functional. Let's get started!

First of all, we collect materials:

  • a4 cardstock (or thick pastel paper);
  • scrap paper 2-3 matching prints;
  • chocolate bar;
  • satin ribbon 7 mm wide;
  • decorative elements - half beads, flowers, lace paper napkins, cutting branches, paper rope;
  • stamping ink;
  • silicone die;
  • the gel pen;
  • curly scissors (optional);
  • glue gun or Moment Crystal (Titanium, Dragon);
  • glue stick;
  • voluminous double-sided tape;
  • ruler;
  • scissors;
  • stationery knife.

How to make a postcard chocolate. Master Class

Pretty tasty colors were selected for this chocolate maker - pale purple with a grunge touch of antiquity and glamorous lace, as well as a more neutral color of cosmic cream with notes.

Preparing the basis for a chocolate girl postcard

To create the basis for the chocolate girl's postcard, we will use A4 cardstock. For a standard 100g. tiles you can use this one template (in order to enlarge, click on the picture, and then to return to viewing the master class - Esc):

Cut along solid lines. Using a clerical knife, carefully break through the window. And along the dotted lines we go through the creasing tool, which can be any blunt and thin object (non-writing pen with a thick rod, knitting needle, etc.).

We bend our base along these lines and leave it alone for now.

Lettering for a postcard-chocolate

Cut out three rectangular parts from cardboard for a congratulatory inscription on a chocolate card. One - light cardboard size 4.5x2.5 cm, the second - from scrap paper of a darker shade (the same size), and the third - 4x2 cm from scrap paper of light tone. Round off the corners of the first and third parts.

Use dark ink to tint the edges of a small detail.

With a gel pen or in any other way, we apply a congratulatory inscription. If your handwriting resembles more hieroglyphs 🙈, you can pre-print the text on this sheet of scrap paper. In order to add volume to the letters, you can apply glitter glue (glitter) over the inscription or use embossing powder (if there is, of course 🙂).

After drying, glue this part with a dark (purple) rectangle.

Cut out another rectangle about 4.5x3 cm in size from scrap paper of a lighter shade (you can search among the scraps). We outline an arc on it and use curly scissors to cut out the edge. You can completely do without them, as in the master class by myself, published on the blog Domovyonok-Art. So, this detail also needs to be tinted at the edges. I did this with two ink colors: brown and dark purple. The result is a time-burnt color that will be seen in the following photos.

Using a silicone stamp and ink we make an impression. I chose a stamp with a music print theme (therefore, to create this element, I recommend choosing something from scraps, similar in color, but with a different pattern).

And here is, in fact, the same color:

We also need two inscriptions to highlight the individuality of the gift. To do this, cut out two substrates from white cardboard about a centimeter wide, the length will depend on the length of your inscription. In this master class, a variant of "Beloved grandmother" is presented, therefore 2 substrates are needed, one per word.

We also cut out two more parts from music paper. They should be 3-4 mm smaller in size than the just cut backing.

We tint the edges of these four parts for the inscriptions on the chocolate postcard.

We glue them together with a pencil. Next, we make the necessary inscriptions.

Background for a postcard-chocolate

Let's go back to our base. While she is just white, unremarkable and not very festive. It's time to get busy background for a chocolate postcard. As the main one, we will have the pale purple print, which I wrote about above.

We cut out 2 rectangles measuring 16x7 cm, as well as two strips 0.8x16 cm and one 1x16 cm.

Cut out 2 strips 0.8x7 cm from the same paper.

In addition, to decorate the inner part, we need a rectangle made of music scrap paper measuring 16x6.8 cm, as well as a strip measuring 0.9x16 cm.

We glue the purple stripes on the outside of our future chocolate postcard. The one that is wider is glued on the side where there is no window.

By the way, about the window. We put one of our purple blanks on this part from the outside, through little window draw a hole with a pencil. Then we put the base aside, and on scrap paper we retreat 3 mm from the contour and draw another one. Cut a new window on it with a clerical knife.

Now we glue this part on the outside. And a small touch - from a round paper lace napkin, cut out a piece with a rectangular corner and glue it, as shown in the photo:

Glue the second purple rectangle on the opposite side (also outside!)

Putting together a postcard - chocolate

On the front side (which is without a window) in the upper third, we glue the part with an imprint with a slight shift to the right. Slightly lower and to the left along the edge, we glue the second part of the lace napkin. In addition, we glue a ribbon on the Crystal Moment - a tie, leaving enough length to make a bow.

Now glue interior chocolate girls postcards. To do this, first prepare a piece with notes. Approximately at a height of ¼ from the top, glue the ribbon with glue for a moment. We bend its ends to the wrong side.

The next step is to glue this piece inside the chocolate maker on the left side. And do not forget to attach another strip to the inner fold (I hope you haven't lost it yet?)))). Where to glue can be seen in the bottommost photo.

And now we return to front side chocolate postcards. Directly above the ribbon we glue a white backing under the congratulatory inscription (we cut it out a little earlier). And on the double-sided volumetric tape - the very inscription "Happy Birthday" is possible with a slight offset. And below there are two more inscriptions (in this master class this is "beloved" and "grandmother").

We glue three branches with leaves to the napkin👆. They can be carefully cut out of scrap paper using small scissors or a dummy knife. And on top of the branches there is a bow made of paper rope. I also glued on another small piece of rope (not shown in the photo above).

Using hot glue, attach the flower 🌺 and the half-beads to the front side of the chocolate card.

Now you can complete our chocolate maker: for this we glue the specially left tail to the base. It turned out to be a box for sweets.

A small rectangle can be glued to the left music side for contrast from below. And if you wish, you can also use it as a pocket for a cash gift or to insert cards with congratulations.

And now the most crucial moment: we put a bar of chocolate in our postcard. Close the box on both sides. Voila!

Our chocolate card is ready! Convenient, functional, versatile. I hope you enjoyed the master class and it was interesting and understandable. But if anything, you can always ask a question in the comments below. While on the other hand ignorance is a great way to get your own most valuable experience and, of course, create a unique product!
