21. The beautiful rose is ready!

I have long wanted to do origami rose from paperbut not too simple. So that you can study the scheme, iron it, slowly, fold by fold, and in the end you get gorgeous colors - just like a real one.

The possibilities of ancient art are endless. It turns out that a beautiful rose is collected from one sheet of paper. The optimal size is 20x20 cm. It turns out a small flower and it is convenient to collect.

At first glance, you will think that nothing is difficult, but you have to sit over the folds and folds before a delicious bud appears in front of you. But it is very exciting!

Origami rose from paper: step by step instructions

Take a 20x20 cm square in red or any other color. Bend it along diagonal lines. Then fold in half to meet opposite sides and again. Divide the part closer to the center into two more equal parts, making a fold. Expand the sheet. Repeat the same in the other direction.

Remember: the better you iron the folds, the easier it will be in later stages of work.

Look at the unfolded sheet. Three lines are visible in the middle, intersecting in the center. Now you need to select them so that the one in the middle becomes convex.

Place the resulting edges in one direction one after the other. Turn the joining place into a square, gently smoothing it on a plane.

Turn the workpiece over to the other side. Begin ironing the center squares and diagonal lines, bending every quarter of the paper in one direction.

Roll the rose petals along the marked lines so that the middle of the leaf is outward.

Bend the ends of the petals inward and fasten them behind each other to make a solid bottom. Use glue for reliability.

It remains only to open the petals, carefully pulling them out from the center of the rose. Curl the outer petals. The origami rose is ready!

I have no doubt that you have turned out very beautifully. If you wish, you can make a stem from floristic wire and make it. Any model of the modules is suitable as a vase.

I wish great mood and success in your hobby! Subscribe to new articles so you don't miss anything!

A colorful bouquet of flowers in an elegant vase not only enlivens the atmosphere of the room, but also becomes the central interior accent - the first thing that attracts everyone's attention from afar. Want to make a gorgeous bouquet of paper roses?

Today we will look at several ways to make a paper rose with your own hands. Most of the manufacturing options presented at first glance are quite simple (this is exactly the feeling you will have while watching master classes), but we assure you that this is not so.

The first time, most likely, it will not work to make a rose out of paper, so please be patient and consumables.
Well, and a good mood, because doing origami, being on edge, is a bad idea.

Origami florist materials

Of course without have a good mood and creative passion for work is better not to start. You may also need: sheets of white paper and paint; transparent cellophane to wrap voluminous roses and "disguise" their artificial origin; various tapes and others decorative elements for a "tasty" bouquet design; double-sided colored paper (close to the natural color of the rose from the greenhouse).

Origami roses from a simple paper napkin, take more of them. Foil and thread, a little glue and glitter will come in handy. When folding paper roses with your own hands, involve in the process everything that fits into the original creative idea. However, you can make a rose from a sheet of a school notebook and already surprise those around you. This simple hack does not require much.

Lesson 1: how to fold a small rose out of paper

Figure 1. Simple do-it-yourself paper rose

It turns out a kind of "weaving" of the flower. For work you will need colored paper, wooden skewers for barbecue and scissors. You may also need PVA glue and a glue gun with quick-drying glue if you decide to make a stalk with leaves.

This is a simple scheme due to which voluminous rose it will take five minutes to fold, and for a whole bunch of spectacular flowers using the origami technique, which can even be put in a vase, it will take you only 15-30 minutes.

Proceed step by step:

  • Cut uniform long strips (for the length of the sheet) about 1 cm wide from ordinary paper with your improvised devices (stationery knife, scissors);
  • Take one strip and make initial folds inward on it, according to fig. 1. Carefully observe the angles of the bends, you can fold it by eye - each origami rosette will be unique;
  • Begin to carefully roll the workpiece along the axis, without running over the free parts of the strip. Reaching an untouched area, bend the strip in the opposite direction from the previous bend and wrap the flower further;
  • Continue to "move" to the end of the strip. Glue the final "tail" to the base of the resulting flower;
  • Plant the rose's "hat" on the peduncle. The latter can be made of green paper (by rolling the sheet into a thin tube) or using a wooden skewer (twig, wire - whatever is at hand).

See how you can make beauty without any special tricks - easily and quickly? It remains to repeat the steps with the remaining paper strips in order to quickly fold a whole bunch of paper roses with your own hands. Similar flowers can be folded.

Watch the video more closely and several times in a row to understand exactly how all this is done.

Lesson 2: fold a curly rose pattern

Surely you have never seen how to make a paper rose from a curly graphic template. Surprisingly easy to fold the beautiful queen of the garden will help you rice. 2. It will come out especially well from a double-sided sheet of paper, but you can also use starched textiles, for example.

Figure 2. How to make a rose out of paper with your own hands

  • In fig. 2 shows an example of a graphic template preparation scheme for a standard sheet of paper. Draw a similar figured drawing yourself, where the wavy petals serpentine go to the center;
  • Cut the workpiece along the traced contours and carefully cut the serpentine line with scissors to the very central point;
  • Make such templates according to the desired number of flowers in the future bouquet - 3-15 pcs. (available in different sizes);
  • Using the "peduncle" as an axial "spindle", carefully screw the edge of the curly strip onto it, as shown in fig. Wrap the whole flower like this, taking your time and focusing on the base of the origami rose;
  • Glue the "bundle" at the base, while fixing it on the peduncle, straighten the petals - you have made luxurious flowers with your own hands.

When folding such a rose from colored paper, take its most realistic shades - purple, delicate pink, natural beige or deep scarlet. And if this rose is made from a napkin, then the result will be cool - it will be almost impossible to distinguish it from a real one from afar.

The video shows an example of making a flower using a similar technique, but it is glued together from individual petals.

Lesson 3: roses from paper spirals

Perhaps one of the most unusual ways to get a small rose out of paper.

No weaving and collecting a flower from blanks, everything is as simple, fast and cheap as possible.
Using this method, you can make up to 200-300 flowers in one day, which are perfect for decoration.

The most common paper is used.
You need PVA glue or special glue for needlework; quick-drying from a glue gun will not work.

Lesson 4: complex "living" rose in origami technique

We are improving our skills, and our new goal is a large rose using the origami technique, as close as possible to the real queen of greenhouses. By mastering this scheme, you are not folding a simple flower from a paper blank, but a true work of art. The end result will directly depend on patience and accuracy. So:

  • Take a square sheet of paper and fold it diagonally, then in half from bottom to top and from right to left;
  • Fold the corners of the diagonally located in front of you "lined" square to the bottom corner, forming the fold of the planes into the workpiece (exactly as in Fig. 3);
  • Then fold the intricate "pocket", strictly adhering to the scheme, and then unfold the workpiece, focusing on the control points (carefully see Fig. 3);
  • Grip the resulting "layered" blank with one hand in order to securely fix the bundle and prevent it from falling apart when wrapping the petals. With the other hand, start tucking the "petals" from the inside, slightly bending the structure and applying the technique of opening the corners;
  • Align the edges of the corners as shown in fig. 3 and press through the fixing “ribs” of the flower, following the diagram. Using the shaft of a ballpoint pen (a pin or paper clip), "curl" the petals protruding upward inward. Similarly, twist the outer petals of the flower.
  • Using glue, plant the rose on a prepared stalk, decorated with green colored paper stem petals.

This is not the easiest origami rose, but it is very interesting to make it. Especially inquisitive natures, focused on the result. The grace of the finished flower will surely reward you with a sense of pride in your origami skills and contemplation of the almost real splendor of the hostess of the rose garden.

Lesson 5: creating masterpieces. Rose Kawasaki

If you understand how to fold the unique giant Kawasaki rose, you will be able to do the most virtuoso crafts. The hardest part to learn here is how to make a rosebud from a simple square leaf. Therefore, it will not be superfluous to watch the training video first, where it is much clearer to show how this is done.

  • Make a multi-level folding of the future rose from a square-shaped paper blank, based on the video and Fig. four;

  • Bend back the small corners and, lifting the sheet, form a dome with a "cut" top corner, bring the workpiece into a plane of the required shape (see Fig. 4);
  • Now form the core by carefully bending the peculiar upper flaps towards you (opening) and bending the lower edge of the workpiece back (lifting the bundle);
  • Fix the core with tape or hold it tightly with your fingers so that the workpiece does not fall apart, then turn the product "face" down;
  • Along the folds, wrap the corners (petals) inward along the axis, wrapping your hand around the entire bowl of the flower. Then you will need to open each corner fold, tucking it inward;
  • Outer petals sticking out sloppy different sides, you need to bend to each other and tuck into the body pocket of the adjacent petal;
  • Squeezing the bud in your hand, slightly compact it, and then straighten the flower from the inside by inserting a pencil into the cavity at the base - the origami Kawasaki rose is ready.

To make the origami Kawasaki rose unfold in front of you in absolute splendor, shape its petals based on the photo. Incredibly, an amazingly beautiful paper rose was made by your with my own hands, although she is ready to compete in beauty with a living prototype from a flower shop. Such a napkin craft is especially good, but it will be even more difficult to make it - soft material worse keeps the structure of bends.

The video will tell you how to make such beauty out of paper, if the diagram in the photo is not enough for you.

Did you manage to fold a Kawasaki rose out of paper? You can be proud of your skills, but continue to make other varieties of origami flowers out of paper. and lilies, for example.

If you have any more interesting options for creating paper roses - throw links to photos or videos in the comments!

According to legend, the rose did not have thorns yet ... Such beauty is easily made from paper. A finished flower without thorns that will not fade and become an original gift to a loved one. To make an origami rose out of paper, follow step by step instructions.

Beginners better choose easy wayto learn the basics of the procedure.

The process consists of several interrelated stages. The first is the preparation of lines (or stripes, depending on which scheme). This technique creates the basis for folding. The sheet of paper will need to be turned over 3-4 times in a special way, following the instructions. The second step is folding.

What you need:

  • a sheet of paper (office, corrugated, special colored);
  • origami schemes;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • pVA glue or glue gun (for fixing);
  • scissors;
  • wire (if necessary).

It is better to start mastering manufacturing with simple schemes, so that even a child can independently make a rose out of paper - origami. Some techniques allow you to make a craft without using glue and other additional materials.

Paper curled rose

Take a sheet of paper prepared for the craft.

Cut the sheet into 2-3 equal long strips. Remember, the width of these stripes determines the size of the future flower (the wider, the larger the rose). Better to do 1-1.5 cm.

Bend the finished strips neatly diagonally. So from A4 sheet 2-3 (and more) colors will turn out.

If you want to additionally make a branch for the finished rose, take a separate sheet of green paper (corrugated or thick colored paper will do). Cut the leaf into 2-3 long strips. Let them be 10-15 cm in width. Make sure that the lengths of the strips fit the size of the flower. Preferably 15-20 cm. If the flower is small - 10-12 cm. Fold and glue the edge with PVA glue.

Cut the leaves separately and stick to the finished branch.

Gently glue a rosebud to the end of the resulting branch. The method is considered simple, it is done quickly.

Origami rose simple

Master class on making a simple rose without diagrams. For beginners, try medium-hard, corrugated, office or colored paper. Cut off the extra strip to make a square sheet.

Fold the paper in half first. Gently fold the resulting rectangle in half.

Open the top side of the square, following the direction: from left to right so that you end up with a triangle. When finished, turn the workpiece over. Fold the other side of the square in a similar manner. It turned out to be a triangle.

Bend the bottom corners of the resulting triangle and fold it following the center line. Instead of one, now there are two identical small triangles. Open and spread the craft - again you get a square.

Turn the workpiece over. Bend both lower sides of the upper triangle symmetrically, following the direction of an even center line.

Fold back one top corner following the direction to the visible center point from the bottom line of the triangle. Spread out the sides.

Origami rose - transformer

The result is not a rose, but a masterpiece. One sheet is enough for making crafts. The finished rose is transformed from a volumetric cube and vice versa.

Would need:

  • thick paper of 2 colors (for example, pink and green);
  • scissors;
  • ruler.

The procedure seems dreary and complicated, but if you follow the instructions in stages, everything will work out. There is no need to take 2 colors, one A4 sheet is enough. It is cut into several identical squares (9 × 9 cm). But it's better to take 2 colors, it's easier to make an origami rose.

Fold the square in half. Fold both halves in half so that the folds are on one side.

Fold the upper right of the corners focusing on the first of the folds on the left. Iron.

Fold the bottom right corner as well. You can unfold the workpiece for convenience, then the corner will be on top. Two diagonal folds were added to the three straight folds on the paper.

Fold the bottom corner to the left, aligning the cut of the sheet so that it lines up with the right small fold.

Align the upper cut, pressing with your finger, and then fix the resulting open pocket (see photo).

Turn the piece upside down. Repeat the manipulation with the small bottom corner on the left. Just look, push the corner down the corner made earlier.

Iron the fold, following until it intersects with the vertical fold on the right, as already done.

Repeat the manipulation to get another fold.

Turn the workpiece over. Bend the corners carefully. Fold over the bottom corner to the right and the top left.

As a result, you will get a square with several corners. Fold the rest of the sheets (pink) as well.

The green squares must also be folded before the pockets are formed. The step-by-step instructions described above will help. Bend the small corner at the bottom on the right. Bend the resulting corner upward.

Rotate the workpiece 180 degrees and repeat the above steps, taking the bottom corner on the left. You get a blank that looks like a pink one, only with a wrapped corner.

Turn the workpiece over. Bend its upper corner looking like the pink ones, followed by the lower corner.

At first it seems that making an origami rose out of paper is very difficult and time-consuming. But in the end you will get a paper cube that will transform into a beautiful little flower.

Connect green parts. Hold the first (left) part so that the small corner looks up, and the longer corner looks down. Insert the second (right) part with a long corner into the groove.

Turn the third part and carefully insert it with a long corner into the groove from the second of the parts. Insert the long corner from the first into the groove from the third.

Follow the description and refer to the pictures. Try to make the diagonal slots of the three parts form a triangle.

Collect the pink ones. Again, with the long corners of these parts, insert one by one into the open grooves. Look at the slots. You can see how the slots diverge beautifully to the sides from the top.

We connect. Carefully slide the long corners from the pink into the open slots from the green. Do not touch short corners. You will get a small cube with sticking out short corners. Uncover the green ones.

It is more difficult to open the petals. To make the flower look beautiful, proceed carefully. It seems that the craft is not assembled correctly. It's just that the petals hold tighter. If your fingers don't come out, take something sharp.

Stretching everything out, straighten the center, then the edges, so that each curl is visible. Here's how to make paper origami a rose that can turn back into a two-color cube.

Origami rose from napkin

It looks impressive and romantic. You can make a rose somewhere in a cafe or restaurant, at home.

Would need:

  • paper or cloth napkin.

Instead of one, you can make a whole bunch of flowers.

Execution is done quickly. Place the napkin in a diamond shape (at an angle towards you). Fold in half.

Roll it up carefully, then re-roll the resulting bagel and secure the edges. Roll tighter to keep the rose longer. Spread the edges to one side and the other - they will be petals. Done.

Modular origami rose

A detailed plan for making origami crafts can be seen in the video.

To make an origami rose from paper beautiful, it is better to take colored paper instead of plain paper. If not, then paint the finished craft with paints, felt-tip pens or pencils.

Rose kawasaki origami

Kawasaki rose outwardly most resembles real flower... No template is needed for manufacturing, only detailed instructions... It is important to fold the paper clearly, indicating the folds each time.

A sheet of paper is enough for crafts. It is done easily and quickly, especially with skillful hands.

It is the Kawasaki rose that is considered classic, only the technique of folding paper is used here, without glue, scissors and other additional materials.

How to make a paper flower stalk - see the following video:

Origami kusudama rose

A complex master class, suitable for experienced needlewomen.

Would need:

  • colored paper 6 sheets (plain white can be used);
  • glue;
  • scissors.

Execution:

It is necessary to cut out squares of this size from six prepared sheets - 15 × 15, 10 × 10 or 20 × 20.

It is better to take the medium ones for testing, it is more difficult to work with small ones.

Fold the paper following the diagram in the illustrations, then carefully glue the corners together.

Origami is making paper crafts without using scissors or glue. This technique is interesting for both children and adults. Paper roses are very popular. You can decorate them with a postcard, a photo frame, or just give them as a bouquet. Any person will be pleased with such a gesture, and his mood will surely rise. Another advantage of roses made using the origami technique is that they can stand in a vase for a long time and delight.

To understand how to make an origami rose out of paper, you need to understand the diagrams. Before you start making a flower, you must:

  • Choose a scheme - step-by-step instructions.
  • Prepare the required paper. It can be plain white or colored paper, crepe or corrugated.
  • Print out schemes for flowers, which are made according to ready-made drawings.

You may also need scissors, wire, pencil. If all the materials are prepared, then you can start making flowers with your own hands.

Making a simple flower

The simplest model for making an origami rose is a twisted model. Such a craft can even little child. For beginners, it is best to create an origami rose according to the scheme:

The twisted rose is ready. You can make several of these flowers at once. If you put them together and decorate them beautifully, you get a great bouquet for interior decoration.

Such a craft is made from individual roses, which are fastened together. It is easy and quick to do, but it will take desire and patience. To create a kusudama ball, you need thick colored paper, glue and scissors. Before you start shaping the shape, you will need to make several origami roses out of paper. The beginner's diagram includes the following steps:

Made roses are collected in one bud. You need to make 18 such buds. All flowers need to be glued together using side petals. You will get a beautiful kusudama ball. You can decorate a room with it or hang it on a tree.

Many people who love and do origami are familiar with the name Toshikazu Kawasaki. This is an origamist who made realistic models out of paper. His favorite product was the rose. The Kawasaki rose differs from other paper flowers with its lush petals.

Making such a flower will not be easy for beginners. The sheet must be turned over many times, sometimes it is necessary to work by weight. However, if desired, the product can work out if you follow the instructions and do everything in stages:

A complex but beautiful flower is ready. You can make a few more roses and give a bouquet to a loved one. These flowers look quite realistic and practically do not differ from the real ones.
