Make Santa Claus with your hands out of. Santa Claus with his own hands: cotton papier-mache

Which New Year does without Santa Claus? Santa Claus is the main attribute of the New Year. The fabulous time is on the nose, you need to start preparing. Today we will make Santa Claus with our own hands from scrap materials.

To create Santa Claus we need:

  • paper (for patterns);
  • cardboard (for a footrest);
  • wire (to shape the legs);
  • glue gun (for strengthening and gluing parts);
  • threads with a needle (for sewing work);
  • fabric (for pants, mittens, caps);
  • synthetic winterizer (to shape the body, nose and pompoms);
  • foam rubber (for boots);
  • fleece (for tight-fitting boots);
  • paints (to create a face);
  • multi-colored felt (decoration for a fur coat, cap, shoes);
  • buttons, beads, beads (decoration for a fur coat);
  • wool (for creating a mustache, beard, hair);
  • scissors.
We start creating Santa Claus with a pattern for his torso, as well as a stand for his legs. For this we use paper. The size finished product depends on the initial choice of the size of the pattern. For a stand for the future Santa Claus, we take cardboard and cut a circle out of it. Then we conventionally divide it into three equal parts and cut it at the intersection of the lines. We attach a synthetic winterizer to the cut-out cardboard with glue and tighten it with a piece of fabric. We pass the wire into the incised places and model the future legs.

We fasten a thin, relatively long wire to the massive wire. Bonding points of cardboard with wire, as well as wire with wire, we fasten with hot glue using glue gun... From the same fabric that we covered the circle, we cut out two long rectangular strips. We sew both rectangles from the seamy side and put them on Santa Claus's feet. These will be his pants.

We sew a fabric cone using a paper pattern. We do not finish the end of the cone. Turn the finished fabric cone inside out. We pass a thin wire into the resulting hole. We fill the future body with padding polyester and sew it to the legs.

In order for Santa Claus to stand firmly and confidently, you need to strengthen the support of the legs. To do this, we take cardboard, cut out the tracks. Using hot glue, fix the tracks and bent wire together. To shape the boots, cut out the linings from the foam rubber and fix them with glue.

To make the boots attractive, we wrap them in fleece material. We glue felt on the sole, if the material goes beyond the boundaries of the boots, then carefully trim it with scissors.

So we came to the design of the face. Divide the cone into a torso, head, and hat. We make the nose from a small piece of fabric and padding polyester. We put the synthetic winterizer inside the fabric and, using a needle and thread, pull it together to give the shape of a ball. Sew the nose to the face of Santa Claus. First, paint the face with white paint, then paint the eyes, mouth, red nose and cheeks with other colors.

It's time to dress Santa Claus. We sew a red fleece coat. We take the size a little more than the body itself. Cut out, stitch, turn out. Cut out 4 strips of future hands using a paper template. We also sew them, fill them with padding polyester.

We put on a fur coat on the body, sew on the hands. We decorate the fur coat with details cut out of felt. Add white felt beads, beads and snow drifts.

Cut out strips from white felt to trim sleeves, collars, and boot cuffs.

We sew hands to the toy. What is Santa Claus without a beard? At this stage, we use a felting needle and attach a lush beard, then we model a chic mustache and hair. Trim the hair with scissors.

The final stage is the manufacture of the cap. Sew together two tapered pieces of fabric, then turn it inside out. Right now, do we need that little wire? sticking out of my head. The cap is put on the head, and with the help of the wire we shape the tip of the headdress. We also decorate with a pom-pom made similar to the nose and a white fleece lapel.

That's all, we made Santa Claus, which means we are ready to celebrate the New Year with our heads held high! Happy Holidays!

This material is addressed to preschool educators, teachers working with children of primary and secondary schools, teachers of additional education, parents, children and all creative people.

December 2016 preparatory group MADOU DS "Gift" under the leadership of Antonova TG and Amirova GR, worked on the implementation of the project "New Year at the Gates". One of the project's products was the group's participation in the Santa Claus workshop for New Year's crafts.
If you are interested in the project "New Year at the Gates", in the heading of the same name in my blog, you can find all the material we have accumulated on this project, get acquainted with other products of the project. Blog address:/ blogs / tatjana-genadevna-antonova

Purpose of publication: Dissemination of experience teaching activities among the community of colleagues.

December... Nature, covered with a fluffy, white blanket, sleeps and dreams of a hot summer. Snowflakes carefully cover the ground in order to protect it from the growing frost every day. But complete pacification and calmness is not felt. Passers-by are in a hurry, hurrying somewhere, carrying Christmas trees and tangerines to their homes. Here and there, festive illumination lights up. This amazing holiday unites all people, makes them believe and touch the miracle. It seems that even the air is saturated with the magic smell of New Year's bustle. People are preparing for the New Year.

And in our group, in the December days, such miracles were happening ... We were suddenly overwhelmed by the maelstrom of New Year's creativity. Educators, children and parents were passionate about the creative process of making New Year's crafts, decorating the group and preparing new year holiday.
Santa Claus in the workshop,
There is a lot of work and worries.
We craft here, day after day.
After all, the holiday is coming soon - New Year!
For the tree - holiday outfit,
For the group - decorations.
I need gifts for the guys
Sweets and biscuits.
We really need to be in time for everything,
Even if there are a lot of things to do.
To joke, laugh, sing
When the New Year comes to us!
T. Antonova

This time was really magical, because even ordinary paper, sprinkled with a drop of glue, in the hands of a child suddenly turned into a "Smiling Snowflake."

Who the snowflakes
Did these?
To work
Who is responsible?
- I AM! - answered Santa Claus
And grabbed me
By the nose!
Galina Novitskaya

The children picked up strips of colored paper, and they suddenly turned into colored balls and jumped onto the tree. Miracles, and more!

The ball teased from the top branch,
All in confetti and sparkles:
"Hey little kids!
You can't get me here!

You won't be able to, boogers,
Reach for me!
Apparently porridge without additive
Eats such small things!

To you, little insects,
Before me - like a star!
I'm too beautiful for you -
All in rains of mica!

At least ten stools
Climb, at least a hundred,
All the same to the upper branches
Nobody can reach it! "

But when he heard the braggart,
Santa Claus got angry,
Turned the nerdy into a bump
Yes, and took it to the squirrels!
Galina Dyadina

While the children slept, the fairy squirrel brought a basket of cones to the group. These cones were not ordinary, but magical. The cones squeaked all the time: "We also want to go to the Christmas tree!" To hang them on the Christmas tree, the children painted them with magical colors, the teachers attached a wire to them and glued green bows together with the children. Suddenly the bumps lined up in a row, and turned into beautiful garland... Here are miracles ...

And crepe paper suddenly spoke in a human voice: “Just think, a garland of cones, take me in your hands, then you will know what a real christmas garland". Isn't it miracles?

The magical New Year's Eve air filled the entire group. It attracted pleasantly with the smell of tangerines, sweets and pine needles, but this air made the group feel chilly. And we decided to make hats to keep warm.

Where is your hat?
Well look!
Get dressed, honey
One and two and three.
Beanie, beanie
The ears are warmer in it.
Hat, hat,
Warm the baby up.
Where is your hat
It's time for us to go.
Get ready, honey,
Children are waiting for us.
Beanie, beanie
The ears are warmer in it.
Hat, hat,
Warm the baby up.
Fink I.

Gouache paints jumped out of the box, and let's dance on black cardboard. Suddenly the black cardboard was transformed and turned into New Year's Eve. These are miracles!

To the blizzard song of a blizzard
Over the snow cover of the courtyards
The magic sleigh flew
On the wings of frosty winds.
Under the thunder of the New Year's ball
Chasing the winter boredom away,
From these sleighs she waved to us
Hand New Years Eve.
Gurina Irina

Admire what a magical transformation happened to our windows. Isn't it a miracle?

Frost painted patterns,
On ours, on the windows.
And I helped Frost,
All cut out the palms.
Where is the miracle? Is there it?
I asked my sister
She looked at the window
And she laughed loudly.
T. Antonova

You can read a description of the window decoration of our group at:/blogs/tatjana-genadevna-antonova/novogodne-oformlenie-okon.html
Our moms and dads did not believe in miracles before. And when they came for the children to the kindergarten, they breathed in the magical New Year's air, and became completely different. They rushed home, but not to do household chores, or surf the open spaces. social networks... Not at all. At home, they got down to business: sewing, knitting, making something. And children - little wizards helped them. These are the miracles our parents did. Wonders!

Cone
The tree looked in the mirror
Ornaments chatting:
"Oh my God, what a delight -
This bump is golden!

As it goes to the green branches
Golden color and red!
You need a FIR with such a pendant
Call HELENA the Beautiful! "
Galina Dyadina

I want for the New Year:
Christmas tree, sweets, toys,
Let Santa Claus come
Will bring crackers with him

Already, breathtaking!
On the most long-awaited holiday,
Brave Fire Rooster
Let him fulfill all desires!

See what a wonderful transformation happened to our group. All this is done by the hands of educators, children and parents.

The pre-New Year's air of magic reached the hallway, and as if by magic, a beautiful fireplace appeared in the hallway.

Detailed description making a fireplace with your own hands step by step photo look at:

Meanwhile, the air of miraculous transformations spread throughout kindergarten, in each group an atmosphere of magical creativity reigned. On the street, the teachers dressed the Christmas tree with frosty silver flowers.

Today we will make with our own hands the main character of the New Year - Santa Claus. We have collected for you best ideas and master classes. All materials are elementary, and the diagrams are simple and straightforward - even children can handle it. Get inspired and get down to business!

Ready-made toys can be used to decorate a Christmas tree or table, put them under Christmas tree or hang on the window. Besides, homemade Santa Claus is one of the best gift additions.

We suggest you try to make this fabulous character out of felt, out of paper and out of a bottle.

Santa Claus made of felt

Felt toys are always very popular. First, this material is very beautiful. Secondly, it is easy to use. Thirdly, standard felt crafts are always sewn according to patterns, and therefore it is not so difficult to make even the most unusual souvenir.

Our Santa Claus is sewn very simply too. With a little effort, you will have a wonderful New Year's souvenir that will perfectly complete a gift for loved one or decorate the tree.

What do we need?

  • pieces of red (or blue), white, flesh and green felt
  • red and white thread for sewing
  • some cotton wool for stuffing
  • beads and any other decor

First you need to make a pattern. Take a look at how the details look. You can sketch them or print a drawing and simply cut out all parts of the future Santa Claus from paper.

We transfer the template to felt. It is better to take red, blue or blue felt as a basis - we will make a fur coat and a hat out of it. Let the beard and mustache be white, and the face and nose - bodily. The edging for the hat can be made green or white - try on as you like.

We fold the large parts together and sew them with red or white thread from the front side. Connecting the substrate and the outer part, add a little cotton wool inside so that Santa Claus "grows" a small tummy - it looks very cute and funny.

Small parts and decor can be glued, not sewn on. However, see for yourself - how convenient it is. New Year's craft can be decorated with beads (you can also make eyes from it), small details from foamiran, plastic snowflakes and flowers, embroidery, etc.

Try to make several Santa Clauses at once. Sewing several of the same figures at the same time is much easier than tinkering with toys one by one. Sew at once, and decorate each separately to make it more interesting, and the crafts were slightly different from each other.

Santa Claus made of paper

This is the simplest way to make the main symbol of the New Year. The process of "assembling" it can be great fun for children.

The finished toy is a great decoration for the table. Place these crafts next to each guest's plate and hide the candy or tangerine inside. This small but very a pleasant surprise will immediately create a New Year's mood.

By the way, the size of Santa Claus can be increased and someone's gift can be hidden under it!

What do we need?

  • red cardboard or thick paper
  • White paper
  • glue stick
  • colour pencils

We make a square out of red cardboard. We coat one edge with glue.

We fold the square into a cone and press the edge tightly.

We cut off the excess.

Draw arbitrary shapes on a white sheet, a bit like the beard of Santa Claus.

In the center we will make a hole: such that the beard crawls through to a certain level of the cone. We do not discard the cut off part.

Let's draw the face, eyes, mustache and beard outlines.

We will make pompons from the cut out circles.

It is very convenient to do such crafts at the same time: fold the paper in a pile and cut it out at once. If you want a more durable product, replace paper with cardboard. If you wish, you can paste over it with fabric and various decorative elements.

Santa Claus from a bottle

In this master class, our beloved New Year's character will be based on a bottle. It doesn't matter which one. You can decorate a bottle of champagne with a picture of Santa Claus. New Year's table or as a gift, or simply transform an empty bottle and put it under the tree.

You can also take a plastic bottle as a basis. Just keep in mind that the structure will not be very stable. In this case, you can pour small pebbles or cereals inside.

Who main character New Year? I believe that this is Santa Claus. This old man pleases us with gifts and magic. What else do we expect from this holiday? Well, since we have already made the trees, glued, sewed, then Morozko must be done.

Moreover, there are also many ideas for this. We will select options for every taste and for any material. After all, the most important thing in this craft is what? That's right, a red hat and a white beard. And that's all, a guest from Veliky Ustyug gallops to our holiday. Well, for those who are closer to Santa Claus, there are also ideas.

In general, it's time for us to create and get inspired!

To begin with, let's see what creative personalities tried to make Grandpa. What came to their hand at the first moment of creative thought. And for some reason I wanted to start the article with large interior and voluminous crafts.

Santa Claus from cups

Inspired by these Frosts. All are made according to the same technique, but how different they are, you are simply amazed!

The combination of red and white cups immediately conjures up the idea of who it is. See what beards are made of: cotton wool, cotton pads, paper, yarn.

And this Grandfather even has a beard made of glasses.

So how do you make them? Let's take a look at the diagram. We draw a blank on paper with a diameter of your choice. We will lay out the equator of our ball at once. The larger the diameter, the larger the ball will turn out!

Then we lay the cups along the line. We fasten them with a stapler and make the second, third row, removing 1-2 pieces from each layer to get a circle.

Or here's an option where you only need one glass.

A sleeve from toilet paper or from paper towels.

From sweets

Next, we have simple hand-made gifts with sweets and chupa-chups. Remember, we considered, and so there are also ideas with Frost and sweets. I will not repeat myself. True, I found only one scheme. I am attaching it.

Amused by the idea of wood. It turns out that in order to create, you just need to take the desired paint colors.

Cones

Once started about natural materials, then here are some ideas from the cones.

If there are a lot of cones, then you can make a big frost tackle. But, of course, this craft is not for one day.

Another interesting option is from napkins. From a distance, they also resemble bumps.

Maybe someone likes to play wool? Then here's an example with step-by-step steps.

They took this drawing as a basis.

We start with the body.

On it we make a pattern of red fabric, leaving room for the head.

We turn it out and sew it. We put it on a wool body.

Pull off the bottom of the edge with a thread.

We make a hat, fur and beard.

Plaster of paris or salt dough

Now it is fashionable to do plaster crafts. But for those with children under five, it is better to make salted dough.

And you need to make an imprint of a spread palm, look.

We make a handprint. We dry the material.

We mark the drawing.

And we will implement it in paints.

We put the string into the hole and hang it on the tree.

I am sharing with you my find from ice cream sticks.

From threads

Have you seen the technique of pulling thread through studs? So, who is interested, you can create such frosts.

And with the help of a conical base and yarn, it is very simple, but interesting craft.

  • felt,
  • thermal gun,
  • yarn,
  • paper cone,
  • decor.

First, let's start with this felt face.

Cut out the necessary parts and glue them with hot glue.

Now we need to make a paper cone and wrap it with threads to get it like this. Make sure there are no gaps.

The edges must be well fixed with glue.

Putting the craft together and don't forget about the pens.

From disposable plates

Yes, this improvised material is definitely lying around in the kitchen for many. Great idea for crafts with kids.

This workshop will only need a portion of the plate. She will act as a sleigh.

Let's now analyze step by step how frost is made.

Take a plate and cut off 1/4 of it. Inside, where the flat and smooth part is painted in beige.

We take a triangle of red paper and glue a plate on it. All that remains is to form the eyes, whiskers and pom-poms.

Look what Grandpa can get a cool beard out of disposable spoons.

And even eyebrows can be made from them.

Of course, there is an idea from plasticine. Everything is shown in detail in the photo instructions.

If suddenly you have a sheet of polystyrene at home, then this is what you can get from it.

Was lying around plastic bottle for water, dress her up too.

Well, and another cool option with one plastic spoon, cotton pad and yarn.

We take a spoon, cut off a stalk from it. We wrap the edge with thread. And we smear the convex side with glue. We turn off the cotton pad. And glue it to the spoon. It only remains to add the missing elements.

How to make a craft from nylon tights, a master class in the video

There is cool idea creating dolls in hosiery technique. Unfortunately, I am not a master at this, so I am giving a master class in video format.

And here I will also give an idea from a sock.

You can make a little body without handles. The main thing is that it is stable.

Well, are balls often in your house? They also make wonderful Santa Clauses.

This is not all. We can say that we are only at the very beginning of our journey!

Patterns for Santa Claus from fabric (tilde)

Now I will give a lot of patterns. There are ideas in the Tilda technique, but there are just schemes for soft toys.

Scheme 3.

For inspiration!

Scheme 10.

Scheme 11.

Scheme 14.

If your scheme is not saved or downloaded, then take a screenshot of the screen and edit the picture in Painte. This graphical editor is installed on all operating systems.

Knitted Morozko and patterns

Now options for crafts for those craftswomen who knit. I liked these non-standard Frosts. And it's okay that none of them is wearing a red hat, you can't confuse them with anyone anyway.

This selection shows how to tie such handsome men.

Of course, there is a diagram.

The idea is the same, but here the crochet pattern is different.

You can also make a voluminous Santa.

Or just embroider it with a cross.

Let's talk about embroidery in more detail below. There will be enough schematics.

Video how to make Grandfather out of cotton wool

In our childhood, Santa Claus and Snegurochka were made from cotton wool. If you are bored of those times, then here is a master class for you. It is presented in video format in order to discard all possible questions, because the craft is difficult.

Of course, it takes a little practice here, but it's not that easy.

Simple paper crafts

Of course, we are now going to tinker with paper and cardboard. Without it, it's just nowhere. This is the most accessible material for us. Especially if kids make crafts.

In addition to this Frost, you can decorate the windows. For example, this stencil.

Cones make a lot different ideas... In the photo below you will see detailed master class how to create such funny frosts. This cone pattern can be used for any other craft.

Well, here's another great cardboard and paper idea. The main thing is what kind of beard it turns out to be gorgeous with 0 rings!

And you can even hang these grandfathers on a Christmas tree. I loved the bow-shaped mustache idea so much.

Here are some more cone blanks.

On their basis, such crafts are obtained.

Or you can simplify the task. And make the foundation yourself. The main thing is to fasten the edges of the cone well so that they do not turn around.

Another funny craft and a master class for it.

Now for a more complex idea. This Frost is made from two paper balls.

Such balls are made according to this scheme. By the way, you can do it at the same time.

For those familiar with the quilling technique, here are the ideas.

From corrugated paper and candy can be made individual gift for each party to the holiday.

I laughed at this craft. How funny Santa turned out to be.

The accordion-folded hat is simply incomparable. Both volume and relief are created at once.

Another curly beard craft.

You can create such an interesting Frost from cardboard.

Idea for little kids! Use stencils of your hands for crafts.

Such a craft can be made from pieces of paper or balls of plasticine.

Hello Santa from Peppa Pig!

Our parents do everything and do crafts. And we thank them and adopt them!

Now I will give some stencils for gift boxes with elements of Santa Claus.

And I almost forgot to show you such suspensions.

You can also make them as a postcard.

We make from cotton pads for kindergarten children

Of course, it is very easy to make crafts from cotton pads. For example, like this Frost. You just need to prepare the materials in advance. So that there is enough for every kid. and there are usually about 30 of them in kindergarten groups.

Idea for home art.

It is very easy to glue paper and cotton pads with PVA glue. Moreover, this is the safest type of glue. It can be used for creativity even for the smallest children.

This option was in the first section, but I decided to remind you.

Santa's beard can be very useful at various matinees.

Put on a red cap and a red T-shirt and young Santa Claus is ready. Or Santa Claus.

Santa Claus with his own hands made of felt

Certainly, ! Of him, what they do not do! And there are necessarily a lot of patterns and patterns. Let's start, perhaps!

Before you is the first master class. This is a Christmas tree toy. You can, of course, play with it anyway, but it’s painfully unstable.

Pattern for Santa Claus.

These crafts simply amaze with their thoroughness and presentability.

There may be several patterns for them. For example, this one.

It also turns out such a Morozushko.

Take this diagram for the hood.

The next hanger pattern.

Now detailed instructions how to sew such a boot for gifts.

A very unusual idea. You can use not only felt, but also fabric.

Another template for inspiration.

You can make a lot of wreaths. They are suitable as a decoration for any premises.

This Frost will not leave anyone indifferent. It can also be used as a suspension, because the hat has a convenient hole for this.

For decoration, you can do several new year symbols: tree, star, christmas ball, deer, etc.

Fantasy is limitless. Therefore, on the basis of one pattern, you can create many new ones.

Bells were attracted to this craft. How festive they are ringing!

You can also make three-dimensional and flat figures. Here are the patterns of both.

This Frost is very much like a New Year's gnome, but it does not lose its relevance and charm at all!

In general, only your imagination is important. And we will provide you with the schemes!

How do you like this craft using bushings?

There is nothing complicated here and you don't even need to sew anything.

How to quickly and easily make Santa Claus out of a bottle

So, the bottles are different. Someone decorates a beautiful woman with champagne. And someone creates from a plastic container for water.

Of course, if it comes to children, then let's take a closer look at the ideas. Here, for example, is a stand for office supplies or small toys.

Or just an interesting craft for decoration.

Santa's can be a wrapping for a sweet baby gift.

For inspiration, here are more options for oldies.

Cotton buds come in handy too!

I think that the child can choose for himself which idea he wants to bring to life.

Santa Claus for New Year from origami

Origami is popular with schoolchildren. It's hard for little kids. Once we tried to make a dog with a child, he understands everything, but it just doesn't work out a bit. Therefore, this section is for those who are older.

There will be several master classes. All with step by step description work.

Diagram with handles and legs.

Familiar with the technique modular origami? There, at first, many blanks of the same shape are made. and already from them the craft is formed.

The next step by step diagram.

Another option.

Detailed step by step photos will not let you get confused.

How do you like this option?

And this is already gone Santa Claus.

Well, one more variation.

In general, attentiveness is important here.

New Year's card ideas

Finally, let's see the ideas for postcards with our character. It can be flat, three-dimensional, monochrome or colorful. Small or large. It depends on you! The main mood in which you created it!

Use different techniques and unusual shapes.

Combine different materials: pom-poms, buttons, paper and cardboard, wood and wire.

And also a few drawings to create a postcard. you can simply print them and donate them. by signing the wishes on back side... And also they can be used as window decorations.

But the most simple idea postcard that you can create with your child.

For inspiration, you can look at the crafts and just take their outline.

The postcard itself may be different forms, it can unfold, shrink or simply open.

Or it can be in the form of an envelope.

As you can see, there are no restrictions anywhere, it is just important to think over the composition, prepare the materials and start creating! I wish you health and every success.

New Year is on the doorstep! Feel the spirit of magic and nascent miracles in the air?

And by the way, you yourself can participate in the creation of a miracle - to sew your own Santa Claus under the New Year tree!

After all, every child and even adults secretly expect that a kind wizard will bring a bag of gifts and a whole armful of happiness to the chimes.

So, for work we need the following materials and tools:

  • Cotton white or beige fabric for the base of the torso
  • Cotton multi-colored fabric for pants, caps and mittens
  • Fleece in two colors (white and red)
  • Felt for applique
  • Holofiber for stuffing and a piece of lining padding polyester
  • Felting wool (combed ribbon)
  • Foam rubber for boots
  • Floss threads, buttons, beads, beads for decoration
  • The wire is thick, well-shaped and thin copper
  • Thick cardboard
  • Acrylic paints, brushes
  • Felting needle
  • Pliers, wire cutters, stationery knife
  • Glue gun, Moment-Crystal glue

1. We are preparing a pattern. First, we determine the diameter of the bottom of the cone and its desired height and, based on this, build a scan in any convenient way. Calculation formulas and construction methods are easy to find on the Internet. We draw a pattern of hands arbitrarily.

2. Cut out from thick cardboard circle, draw a line through its center, which we divide into three equal segments. At their joints we cut holes for the wire. We apply a padding polyester circle and a circle made of colored fabric of a slightly larger diameter. We tighten the fabric around the cardboard.

3. We bend the thick wire in a U-shape, poke it through the holes in the cardboard, synthetic winterizer and fabric. We bend the ends of the wire at the “ankles” and make “feet”. We fasten a thin one to the jumper copper wire longer than the height of the cone, by about 10 centimeters.

4. Important! We carefully glue the wire with hot melt glue to the cardboard and glue the wire joint. At this stage, the structure must be well balanced and stable, the cardboard must not fall down the wire!

5. Cut out two rectangles from colored fabric, about one and a half times the length of the legs and about 4 centimeters wide. Fold it in half lengthwise, stitch it, turn it out. We pull on the legs and sew to the bottom with a blind seam.

6. We cut out the sweep of the cone from the cotton fabric for the body. Fold in half and sew along the edge, leaving the last couple of millimeters unstitched at the top. Bend the edge in a circle, outline it. We turn the resulting cone out of the fabric.

7. We put the cone on a thin wire, bringing its free end through the hole at the top. We fill the body with holofiber. Make sure that the wire remains approximately in the center of the cone during packing. Sew the folded edge of the body along the circumference to the bottom with a secret seam.

8. Cut out the soles from cardboard. Draw them randomly, the main thing is that it is slightly longer at the back and front than the wire loops. We glue the soles to the wire with hot melt glue, making sure they are stable.

9. We cut out foam rubber “boots” with the help of scissors and a stationery knife. Cut out a recess for the wire from below and cut a slit in the back in order to insert the "ankles" into it. It is not neatness that is more important here, but the symmetry of the "boots". We glue the foam rubber with hot melt glue.

10. Cut out two ovals from the red fleece of such a size that it would be enough to cover the foam rubber “boots” with a small margin. At one of the elongated vertices of the oval, cut out a sector in the form of a triangle, put the fleece on the foam rubber, sew up the backdrop with a blind seam and tighten the fleece around the cardboard sole.

11. From felt suitable color We also cut out two ovals slightly larger than the cardboard sole. Glue the felt to the sole with hot melt glue, cut off the excess, hem the felt to the fleece with a blind seam.

12. We outline the approximate lines of the top of the jacket and the bottom of the cap on the body. There will be a face between them. Cut out a small circle from the fabric, put a synthetic winterizer ball inside, tighten it along the edge. It turns out a nose that needs to be sewn onto the face with a blind stitch.

13. Priming the face with white acrylic paint... We try not to go too far into the territory of future beards and hair, so that in the future there will be no difficulties with rolling them. Which face to draw is a matter of your taste and imagination.

Then we tear off a bunch of wool 2 times thinner and about 20 centimeters long, roll it in the middle under the nose, like a mustache.

21. We tear off two more bundles of wool, equal in length and density to the beard, roll them on both sides of the face. Gently comb the back of the felting needle and place the wool in a thick beard.

22. We also roll and shape the hairstyle on the sides and on the back of the head. If necessary, you can trim a little with scissors and sprinkle with regular hairspray to prevent fluff.

23. On the basis of half of the cone, we cut out a cap that is strongly elongated and narrowed towards the top from a colored fabric. The height of the cap should correspond to the length of the free end of the wire plus 1-2 centimeters for freedom of bends. Sew the details, leaving the top open.

24. We turn out the cap, put it on the head, pulling the wire out through the upper hole, sew it along the edge to the head. Bend the end of the wire with a loop. Sew on a white fleece lapel and a pompom, hiding the end of the wire in it.
