« New Years offensive"Will begin on December 16 at 9:00 (Moscow time), and will last until January 16 at 9:00 (Moscow time). Players will have to climb 10 levels, and for each achievement they will receive a box with valuable rewards and gifts. In the Hangar, you will need to decorate a Christmas tree, as well as a KV-2 tanker. The more decorations and the higher their level, the more valuable gifts you receive.
Note!
New Year's Offensive will be released with a special update on December 16th. This will affect the operation of many popular modifications. The game modifications folder will be recreated with the new number 0.9.17.0.1 - accordingly, all game modifications that were installed earlier will be disabled. To use mods again, simply reinstall them.
Upon reaching the next level of the festive atmosphere, each player receives a box with gifts, including discounts on the purchase of fresh Swedish tank destroyers!
Decorate the Christmas tree and the tanker
Get decorations in random battles - for completing special combat missions (menu "Combat missions", tab "New Year's Offensive").
Combat missions can be conditionally divided into two groups: easier (first - second ranks) and more difficult (third - fourth ranks).
For completing each task, you will receive a box with a special gift and new year decoration... What's inside - no one knows.
Decorations are divided into 5 levels (depending on the complexity of combat missions) and there are 8 types: 4 for your tree and 4 for a tanker. The higher the difficulty of the combat mission, the more significant the reward you get. Upon reaching level 5, you will receive; decorations such as the Golden Type 59, the balancer tool, and more!
You can dress up your tree and tanker with traditional decorations: snowflakes, garlands or Christmas socks for gifts, or you can add a balancer tool, Karla, T-34-85 keychain or a KV-5 radio operator's helmet. Christmas tree toys are not suitable for a tanker, and tanker toys are not suitable for a tree.
To start decorating, simply click on the tree or tanker in the Garage, or select the tanker in the vehicle panel. Drag the earned decorations into special slots.

Decorate the Christmas tree and the tanker
Where to get garlands, balls and tops? All these decorations can be earned in random battles - for completing special combat missions (menu "Combat missions", tab "New Year's Offensive").
Combat missions can be conditionally divided into two groups: easier (first - second levels) and more difficult (third - fourth levels).
The weekly challenges will be available again every Friday at 9:00 AM PT.
Rewards for completing combat missions can be summed up subject to all conditions and restrictions.
For completing each task, you will receive a box with decorations and a special gift from World of Tanks. You will be pleasantly surprised! No one knows what awaits you inside the box: maybe premium gear, or maybe a personal reserve.
When you close the window with a notification about the charge of the box, it automatically opens, but already in the background and without playing the animation. In this case, the property out of the box is automatically credited to the account.

By purchasing boxes, you get not only jewelry, but also gold, as well as a special bonus. Only VBR knows what will give you a bonus: even more gold, days of premium account, Pz.Kpfw. In your Hangar, you can decorate a Christmas tree, a snow sculpture, a field kitchen and, in fact, the courtyard itself. Everything is as before: complete combat missions, earn decorations and hang them up. Each decoration increases the level of the festive atmosphere in the Hangar. The more rare it is, the more holiday atmosphere points it gives.
There are ten levels of holiday atmosphere and five levels of jewelry rarity in total. Your level of festive atmosphere depends both on the level of jewelry rarity and on their quantity in the Hangar. By default, all players will start at Tier I and receive a gift - an MKA tank, a German premium Tier II vehicle, with a slot and a 100% crew. Each new level guarantees additional rewards, including discounts on researchable vehicles I-X levels, personal reserves, equipment and slots in the Garage.

How do I get jewelry?
You can earn decorations in battles by completing special tasks, which we will talk about a little later. For tasks you will receive Small New Year's boxes, which will contain three random decorations and an additional reward.
The type, collection of jewelry (setting), and the level of rarity will be determined randomly.
By replenishing your collections with decorations, you will receive various bonuses (to credits, combat experience, free experience, or crew experience). As you collect the collection, the bonus will grow.
2019 collection: what's new?
All jewelry is divided into four collections, like last year: "New Year", "Christmas", "Magic New Year" and "Oriental New Year". Special albums will be available in the hangar decorations menu, where you can see your progress. Why collect jewelry? As before, you will receive rewards for this. When you complete your collection, you will receive a unique style, lettering and emblems.
And that is not all.
Let's go back to the collection bonuses. Each collection begins to give its own bonus when at least nine jewelry is collected from it:

The 2018 collection is back!
Who remembers the styles from last year's collections? Some of you have collected all four. However, many did not manage to finish even one (although they really wanted to!). Well, we will give you the opportunity to collect collections this year. First you need to reach level X of the holiday atmosphere. After that, you can return to collecting previous collections and continue from where you left off last year. But hurry up: from January 14th, this opportunity will disappear!
By opening the 2018 collection and clicking on the missing piece of jewelry, you will be able to collect it from a certain number of shards. By the way, last year's decorations will not be handed out randomly - you can get exactly the ones you need.
New Year Collider 2.0
The new good collider was in demand last year, and we decided to keep it this year, but with some improvement.
Changed the general appearance and the interface - so it got version 2.0. In addition, the New Good Collider syncs with album collections. For example:
In the 2019 Collection, click on a piece of jewelry that you don't have. → You are thrown into the New Good Collider 2.0 with the settings set to create this decoration. → If luck is on your side, you will be able to collect it.
The principle of work will be the same as last year: break unnecessary jewelry into fragments, and then try to get the jewelry you need out of them.

Decorating a Christmas tree on the one hand, the process is very simple - you dragged the toys of the maximum level onto it and calmed down ... But if you want to get certain decorations, then you cannot leave it to chance :) After all, a situation may arise when an unnecessary decoration will be crafted out of 5 decorations of the 4th level 5th, for example, the second pommel.
Practice has shown that there are fixed recipes in which, with the same resources, the result is always the same, but there are random ones. How to dress up a Christmas tree in World of Tanks
The fact that there is a New Year's event in WoT, you can easily determine by the hangar, in fact, there you will find it. clicked LMB on it, you will be taken to the window for decorating the tree.
As you can see, I already have the 9th level of the so-called holiday atmosphere. I made it thanks to the large number of level 4 and 5 toys.
To achieve this level of festive atmosphere, it is necessary not only to dress up a Christmas tree in WoT, but also a snowman, decorate the house and lighting, as well as decorate the pillars and courtyard. All this is in the left menu, in the screenshot. Also, you can go to all these objects directly from the hangar by clicking on them with LMB. This is described in detail.
If you have extra toys or you are missing some New Year's element to bring up a new level of New Year's atmosphere, then necessary toys can be crafted in the collider. To do this, you need to click on the bottom panel "create decoration".
